These two pallets are right up my alley. Soft in dimension, perfect for older eyes.💖 I might be 71 this week but I’m not dead. Thank you all who wished me a happy birthday 💖😊
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Shara🎊🎊 And I agree. Many people will LOVE this Palette for those reasons you mentioned. Those who like a stronger shimmer this may not be the one for them. Those Mattes though🤯🤯🤯 SOOOO GOOD!!!
Excellent video as always. At this point there’s just nobody else out there doing reviews with this much attention to detail, honesty and genuine care for their audience. All communicated in a super engaging way that demonstrates a real love of makeup.
With aging, crepey eyelids, I find these palettes appealing for the same reason others are disappointed, just as you pointed out.thanks for the thorough review!
I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your swatches and comparisons. While I love your honest makeup reviews, it’s obvious how much time and effort you put in to showing us the differences and similarities of palettes we may already have in our collection. So thank you Tara for going that extra mile for us, it truly helps in my purchase decision making. Hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season🎄
I really like that you explained who would love or be disapointed by the palettes and why. It's very helpful, because everybody has different tastes. So thank you 😘
Thank you for your honest, thorough review. I bought the Cinnabar palette and felt under whelmed by it. I wish I had waited for your review before purchasing it.
Super helpful with the swatch comparisons. I love that Muse pallett but after seeing your comparisons, I know I already have these colors throughout several pallets. Thanks so much! 😁
Very informative thank you. I'm in my sixties and it appears that both these palettes could update my look without being too intense. Both going on my Christmas wish list ;-) xxx
Thank you so much Tara! These shadows are right my alley❤️I am dazzled by your descriptions and know just what to expect. As a bit of an older gal in my 50s, ugh! I don’t care for too much sparkle🤨so these will be perfect for me❤️you looked beautiful🥰
Absolutely love the softness and the elegance of Lisa's eyeshadow palette, I firstly brought Vega and am soooo in love with this palette so that I ordered now the muse palette. PS the sorcery lipstick pairs actually better than cinnabar to the eyeshadow 🥰 new favorite color
The sorcery palette was so stunning, these two almost…disappointed me. Not that they aren’t beautiful, but I’m not tempted by either. But I also prefer more to my shimmers. I can see where for some these would be perfect. I will say, those mattes do look fantastic! Great video, can’t wait for the next!
Such a fun video to watch! After you finish doing videos on the palettes themselves, you ought to do a separate video showing swatches of ALL the shades from ALL the palettes, from lightest to darkest, so when she gets to the point of releasing them separately as a build-your-own palette (that's surely coming, right?) you will have all the shades posted to make it easier for people to select! You could also then do a separate vid for each of the formulas, and that would tell us also which ones do have most potential for fallout. Don't you love it when the viewers create new workload for ya? Ha!
@@gemmani4861 Mmmm. Very good points. Didn't know that! So, maybe Tara needs to focus on her own ideas instead of viewer assignments! Glad you pointed this out!
Really appreciate you mentioning the ND cream to powder formula vs the LE formula. I was worried that I might not like these palettes as I don't love the ND cream to powder formula, I feel it enhances texture. But you saying that you like these the mattes in these palettes makes me feel more confident in picking these up eventually.
So it’s not just me! There is a taupe transition shade in her Retro Glam that I am having the hardest time with. Her darker matte tend to give me a bit of trouble. I thought it was just my poor skills, haha. But they sit on my brow bone giving me crepey texture that I never knew I had. Yikes. 😂 So yay, we have hope for Lisa’s mattes!
That shade you’re talking about in RG is not a cream to powder though. Her cream to powder is a whole different formula. Every Matte in RG is a creamy matte which is a powder. The ONLY cream to powder shade in RG is evergreen. .
Those are great eyeshadows and the color stories are so pretty 😍 if I didn’t have so many PML, ND and Ct in my collection I would probably pick them up because the quality is great
I had the same problem. Some shimmer shades don't have pay off. They come off less and less as I use them. I love Lisa Eldridge but I don't know if it's worth the price.
hi TL :) i was 😮at the 8:10 mark: the Cinnabar shadow you applied just then looked almost like a thin lotion-like shadow bcz of how it easily it glided onto your lid. if that's the Lisa Eldridge shadow formula then i am so here for it!!! wow!! { edit: LOL, yup, i spoke *too* *soon* !! Thank U for always being 💯 }
Your comparisons are awesome!!! 😊 I can't believe how many of the similar palettes I have 😅😅but it tells me I should whip them out and start wearing them for the season. I can't justify buying these when I already have 5 other palettes that look the same
An interesting video, thank you. I see that everybody has different skin tones, and every person will find the color that will suit wonderfully. About Cinnabar: you were very critical, but there are many persones who will love, depending on their preferences, and skin tones. What I appreciate is the composition/ ingredients that are without toxic components, which I appreciate a lot!! ❤🎉
Tara I love you for all your hard work! Nobody works as hard on high end swatches as you do. I am now thoroughly convinced we keep getting the same shades in our collections over and over and over the differences the formulas have changed. But with that said it looks basically remain the same and as we look at our collections we kind of favor certain shades in certain formulas. So I’ve come to realize it’s really finding out which formula works the best for you and sticking with that formula. I think they just keep tricking us with coming out with new pallets with different shades of the same thing. I’m not a TH-camrs but I swear I have as many make up pallets as somebody who has a channel and Declutter’s does. I love makeup I love eyeshadow but is #63 how many more pallets do I need to buy.? Mansion in 20 years do you think you’d still be buying pallets? I guess I need to search my heart but I love your channel and I love how much you do for us! Happy Thanksgiving dear may you and your family enjoy the season together

Ibreceuved my Muse palette last week, so I've been palying with it for 4 days and love it ❤️...its exactly as you said it so easy and for me why its perfect, its day time friendly. Its not over the top sparkly, its just beautiful, easy, elegant look I can do every day to work or simply on weekends. If I want a sparkle, I can do PMG, but lets face it, I very rarely reach for it (its a lot of work)...I was also thinking about what you mentioned in your last video, about cost per gram, and I realized rhat yes, they are expensive...but how many people are actuallya avke to use up palettes with more grams like PMG before they expire? I bet most, so I rather have something that I can enjoy and hopefuly finish 😍
Thank you for taking the time to go ahead and show us to more. I want to buy at least one or two as Christmas gifts for my sister's and its so helpful to see .
It looks like Lisa and Natasha share the same Dream 😄 We have these color stories but I want to try her formulas. Looking forward to receiving my Sorcery and the matching lippie looks more mauve on you than in her promos. Sorry I didn’t pick that up too. Gorgeous 💋
Great review🙌 it looks stunning on you. I love LE formulas. I would definitely get it cinnabar if i dont have Chanel tweed cuivre. Since LE eyeshadows are not le i will pick up that later. I got Vega and i love it so much. I am waiting for her to restock sorcery . Muse is beautiful, but if i get it, then again i wouldnt be using Chanel tweed pourpre. Definitely in the future i am going to get it as well. Have a blessed day🙏🧡
Those swatches were so very helpful! I ended up only getting the Sorcery palette because it's a new formula and the price is so high for just 6 shades. I nearly ordered Cinnabar instead, but knew I already had those shades in other palettes. I'm glad I got what I got, but likely won't get another. Her lip products remain my love and I was so bummed that I missed out on Velvet Sorcery. Love the other four new shades, though.
Thank you for your super helpful review! I've seen others that are so dramtically positive or negative, and it's difficult to know where the truth is, but you actually gave a brilliant explanations for your thoughts. Thank you again :)
Thanks for such a great review! I liked that you explained what type of consumer this is better suited for. I know the color stories are redundant and the price tag is high but I’m pretty happy with this release!
Finally someone who knows how to break down and explain make up. I watch so many videos and I am so confused as to wether to commit to a product or not. I loved the looks you came out with and I really loved how you compared the swatches to other brands. Never seen anyone do that. I am torn between the Muse palette and the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk palette. Any recommendations? I want something that I can use for all ocasiona and that’s versatile. Thank you!!!
I'm so glad the review was helpful ❤️❤️ I would choose based on whether you prefer cream or powder shadow. I am reaching for more Creamy Mattes than powder, it's just easier. The CT pillow talk is great, but I think you get more for your money with the Muse than the CT 😁 Hope that helps❤️ Thanks again for your comment, really appreciate it 🙏
Very helpful, especially the swatches, as I have most of the other palettes mentioned. Not feeling as sad about not getting them now. I went and got Tom Ford Tigers Eye instead, painfully expensive here ($149AUD) but at least I could walk into a shop and buy it.
Wonderful review, as always, and thank you for being honest. 🙂 I'm just not feeling these palettes. While the packaging is gorgeous and uniquely Lisa Eldridge, the color stories themselves seem derivative. It's like LE came out with her own versions of well known Pat McGrath, Charlotte Tilbury, and Wayne Goss palettes -- they just don't feel $70 special to me. In contrast, I bought 4 of her recently released Insanely Saturated Lipsticks because those felt special, and I couldn't get those colors and formulas anywhere else.
Wow Lisa does it again and I think this will be an amazing addition to any makeup enthusiast I think I will be picking up a couple and maybe adds more as I can thank you Tara.
Excellent review! Thank you so much for your detailed thoughts on the two palettes. I was curious how the different formula are performing and you shared enough information on what to expect. I will be patiently waiting for your next review as I ordered Vega and 3 singles (Mage, Mauve Decade and Illusionism). I liked a couple more colours but I know that I won't use them very often so I didn't bother buying them. Thanks to your review though I might buy Muse in future as it seams very wearable. It's a bit early, but Happy Thanksgiving!
Agree with your thoughts. I wanted that top coat to sparkle, not a fan of that formula. The velvet formula is my favorite. Beautiful. Lucky I am pale. The lighter tan is perfect for me. Really enjoying my purchase though.
Yaasss!! I’ve been waiting on your review of these ❤ They are sooo stunning and I’m not a dramatic eyeshadow sorta girl so all the issues others seem to have with these palettes aren’t an issue for me 😂 Can’t wait to hear your thoughts!!
I have muse and was hoping for a little more drama with it (a darker shade would be great with it). What I love about it though is that it's so easy to use. It's perfect for when we have to say, visit family and I just want a super quick makeup look that I don't have to pack a lot for. I definitely can see myself using this when I have client meetings or something as well. I have other eyeshadows if i want a ton of bling. I love how easy this is to use though.
Definitely. I wish it had a little more depth but it is so easy for those every day eaay looks😁 I used the Cinnabar and Vega Palette all week. I needed simple, quick easy makeup (preparing for holiday and didn't have a lot of time for makeup🤣) and I love how easy they blend. No fuss. 👏 Thanks for watching and sharing your experience ❤️ Hope you have a WONDERFUL weekend
Love your videos Tara!!! Thank you for the time and effort you put into your presentations. Your lashes look amazing!! I assume they are Lashify…would you please share your lash map?
I bought this and my viseart minxette has mainly the same colors. I’m bummed ab the ritual shade. I still can’t believe is spent this much on a pallete but I love Lisa so much so I always get sucked into her launches.
So helpful Tara! Thank you 🙏 Seems like so far from videos I have watched the consensus is that those mattes are amazing. I do like me a bright shimmer and as is, not really in the Lisa Eldridge income bracket 🤣🤦♀️😥… but I was willing to eventually shell out the 💵 for one of these palettes. So far, each one has pros and cons and for $68 I want all the shades to be pros. Waiting to hear your thoughts on Myth and Vega. And if all else fails maybe one day if full customization is available I can handpick the mattes since they are the stars of the show here.
I think the Sorcery palette is truly unique….!!!! I think I’ll wait for the restock just sucks it want be until after Christmas 😢 I really like these 2 as well especially cinnabar…!!! What do you think about the color store for deeper skin tones for the make up by Mario palette??
Then after than you could do a video of some sample palettes YOU would put together as a mix and match. Please include an all-matte palette, too in that one! (More work assignments :>)
Yay..... I'm here in the first 5 minutes of a post, bahaha, nvr did that before. I've been waiting on her review..... I'm excited bc I thought this wouldn't happen until after Thanksgiving!! #TaraLynn #LisaEldrigeReview ❌⭕💋💯❤️
These two look like they're for pale skins. I'm white. My mum says we're sallow lol & I'm not very good with eye makeup I have to admit, so I think they'd be great for someone like me. Thank you for sharing this x
I’m scared these will blend into nothing like my Wayne goss palettes. These were the two I was interested in but I’ll wait till she sells the case separately so I can make my tailored palette
Thank you so much ❤️ My nail tech uses these tips www.nailzkatkat.com/products/short-stilettos-soft-gel and this is the color I'm wearing www.nailzkatkat.com/products/delicate-26
Thank you so much for the detailed review and swatch comparisons! I’m skipping these two since I already have very similar shades in ND Retro, ND Bronze and Tarte Tartelette Juicy. Really looking forward to the review of the last two palettes! So far, Sorcery has my heart and I’m rooting for Vega, because I love the color story.
Hi Tara, great review and wonderful job with the swatches. I have Muse and Cinnabar. I am fair and a mature woman so I like these palettes for day looks. If I need to punch it up for evening I can add some sparkle with a ND or Pat McGrath topper. I agree they applied and blended beautifully. Being that I am fair all the shades look good. Lisa is more of an understated look type of artist and I I think many people don’t realize that fact and hence were disappointed. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.
I completely agree, Tara. I have fair skin so the shadows are a bit more impactful on me, but you’re right, these are super subtle and very cream based. I have had better luck with synthetic brushes (BK Beauty is what I used) and a dab of glitter glue helped the shimmers pop a bit more. These are perfect bridal style shadows because everything just looks perfectly blended and seamless without being too flashy. I love them for travel when I don’t have a ton of time to do my makeup.
Even though Vega and Myth are the palettes I picked up, I'd much rather wait until after Thanksgiving for your review on them. I mean, it's only makeup - I'd much rather you enjoyed the holiday 😊 Surprise, surprise, I still haven't got my order 😅😅😅. Well, it's my birthday on the 22nd, so I'm crossing my fingers that it arrives then 🤞🤞 I was shocked at how many other palettes had very similar colour stories to Muse and the other palette (I can't remember it's name 🙈)!!!! As far as shades go, they seem to be easily duped. Also, I would've liked for the darkest shade in Muse to have been just a bit darker. Thank you for this fantastic vid, the comparisons are really appreciated ❤ Love yooooooooooo 💫💜💫💜💫
I have this gut feeling that there is something off about these palettes. Look like they are not rich in texture....or creaminess. I already have similar shades in my collection. I just going to pass...Thanks for you review.
Based on your experience the Cinnabar palette colors seem more designed for fair - lightish skin tones. Also for older eyes - no real metallic and sheen is good for older eyes.
I'm not a layering monotone lady. Because of my eyes & skin tone (very light) I have to create real depth on my eyes with super light pigmented shimmers on the inner half of the lid. I don't think these palettes are going to do that for me. But I am very interested in Vega. I love the TF cream shadow (violet is amazing), so I'm willing to buy the palette just for the mattes. But it does bother me, just like Tara said for $68 you shouldn't have to skip shades when there's only 6... 🙄 I think this cream to powder formula is going to come out strong in '23, for those who need to skip these palettes you'll have a chance later. Thanks for sharing 🤍 Have a wonderful Thanksgiving 😘 time to start chopping & baking...😵💫 Ps... I'm always shocked by swatches. Muse & Love are so friggin close?!
Fyi... I know you don't have time but at some point I'd love to see a video on wonderful soft quality lounge wear for around the house! Just facing the facts of what I wear 70% of the time 😁
Cinnabar: the light shade is just too light/neutral. And that topper shade is VERY underwhelming. Not at all worth $68. Muse: I wish those two shimmers didn’t look so similar. Again, for a $68 6 pan palette, I don’t want two similar shades.
I disagree with the topcoat review. This top coat is a transparent shade that provides sparkle. It can make any matte colour to be sparkly and festive. I think that's the real function of this top coat. It's not supposed to give that pop that the metallic shades do. I think she explained it in her video as well. You can just apply it to your entire makeup look without changing the colours and it can just transform a day look into an evening look just like that.
Thank you for sharing your input. I can totally see that point😁❤️ I always appreciate everyone's opinions. Thank you so much for taking the time to share💕 Hope you're having a great weekend..
@@TaraLynnbeauty I hope my comment didn't come out as harsh and judgemental 😅 It was not supposed to be. Just wanted to say that the function of the top coat was different. Thanks for your kind reply

@@TaraLynnbeauty It's not my opinion however, it's Lisa's intention for that top coat. That's why I rushed to comment, so people don't get the wrong impression and expectations from the shade. At 17:15 on her video she actually discusses about the top coat (for Myth palette) and she says it has no pigment. Check it out 😊 Thanks again for your comment and your kindness.
Thank you Tara, for the review on these palette...they are beautiful. God bless.
I am really waiting of ur review on iconic tint and iconic blurring primer .
It’s exactly what I thought. Not for me. But thank u for the review! ❤
Yaasss!! I’ve been waiting on your review of these ❤ They are sooo stunning and I’m not a dramatic eyeshadow sorta girl so all the issues others seem to have with these palettes aren’t an issue for me 😂
Can’t wait to hear your thoughts!!
Gorgeous Gorgeous eye looks 😍 your beautiful eyes popped 😍
I bought this and my viseart minxette has mainly the same colors. I’m bummed ab the ritual shade. I still can’t believe is spent this much on a pallete but I love Lisa so much so I always get sucked into her launches.
💕💕💕 you’re my go-to girl !!
So helpful Tara! Thank you 🙏
Seems like so far from videos I have watched the consensus is that those mattes are amazing.
Love your honesty!
These look so pretty!💗😊
👏🏾 looking for some ND and PML dupes!!!
I was shocked I got them that quick. Plan to film with the other 2 tomorrow and put that video up, sometime on Tuesday 😁❤️ Thanks for watching💋💋💋
Tara I just love love ur videos ♥️♥️♥️
Can you share what nails you are wearing 😢
Thank you so much ❤️ My nail tech uses these tips

Thank you so much for the detailed review and swatch comparisons! I’m skipping these two since I already have very similar shades in ND Retro, ND Bronze and Tarte Tartelette Juicy. Really looking forward to the review of the last two palettes! So far, Sorcery has my heart and I’m rooting for Vega, because I love the color story.
Hey Tara….love ur videos nd honestly 👌👌nd this time I just pass on this launch cos no more eye shadows..nd m glad.. lol.. lots of love Tara❤️
Yippppppeeeeeeee, Woo Hoooooooooooo I'm first 💃🥰💃🥰💃🥰💃
Yay, I'm 4th. I don't think I have ever been this fast on any of my subscriptions, LoL 😂 I can't wait to see her eyes and hear her 💭 thoughts. ❌⭕💋💯
Thank you for keeping it honest :-)
I mean, it's only makeup - I'd much rather you enjoyed the holiday 😊
Surprise, surprise, I still haven't got my order 😅😅😅. Well, it's my birthday on the 22nd, so I'm crossing my fingers that it arrives then 🤞🤞
I was shocked at how many other palettes had very similar colour stories to Muse and the other palette (I can't remember it's name 🙈)!!!! As far as shades go, they seem to be easily duped.
Also, I would've liked for the darkest shade in Muse to have been just a bit darker.
Thank you for this fantastic vid, the comparisons are really appreciated ❤
Love yooooooooooo 💫💜💫💜💫
I have this gut feeling that there is something off about these palettes. Look like they are not rich in texture....or creaminess. I already have similar shades in my collection. I just going to pass...Thanks for you review.
Yay!
You keeps says sinnabar pallets and Muse mixed up.. when you points at the pallet..
Not enough shades for that price, I prefer Patrick ta or ND for that price point. The packaging so so cute though
Based on your experience the Cinnabar palette colors seem more designed for fair - lightish skin tones. Also for older eyes - no real metallic and sheen is good for older eyes.
Honestly I have these colors in multiples from so many other brands like Dior Chanel Pat McGrath Natasha Denona. I think I’ll skip these
Thanks for the great review.🥰
Tfs sis
Can’t wait for Vega dupes too!
Thanks for sharing 🤍 Have a wonderful Thanksgiving 😘 time to start chopping & baking...😵💫
Ps...
🥰🥰
@GretG Oh, absolutely not❤️ It was very insightful and you know me, I love hearing everyone's opinions, especially when they differ from mine. We all have a different perspective and I can totally see your point. I appreciate you taking the time to share it😁💕 Thanks again❤️❤️
Check it out 😊
Thanks again for your comment and your kindness. I know you're a class act 🥰 and always care about your viewers and opinions. You're awesome 💗
First
Lisa must really love Natasha Denona. Both of her palettes are complete rip offs of the Natasha shades. Hmm.
Mild impact 😢
You are so beautiful!!!
