- The actors, who play Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle on the soap, told Paul about their audition processes and their campaigning ahead of the National Soap Awards.
Love watching Danny's shy/humble reaction while Ryan goes on and on about how great his performance has been. They always pour compliments over each other!

Why did Emmerdale use to be called Beckingdale?? That doesn't make any sense.
Ryan Je that was the original name of the village, it was changed to Emmerdale after the plane crash
Emmerdale was originally the name of the farm that the sugdens owned and after the crash they renamed the village emmerdale to try and forget about the disaster
I don't think an infant should count as an actor. He had no idea what was going on and didn't have to memorize any lines.
Four years late. But actors are listed as having a role even when they're babies... So yeah.. they still "play" their part.
