There is much heart to the music and I'd hate a comment like ketamine to give the wrong impression there was a time when people understood the music and techno was the source of empowerment to the black people of Detroit in a capitalised and alienated city

Techno is something I'm very passionate about also, drugged up or not (the latter more often these days) it's been my life for 15 years or so. I obviously can't empathise with the way that the older generation feels about these changes because I haven't experienced them, but I can understand it. Things change, we can't look back with resentment we can just look forward to it bringing more joy to peoples lives.
