This is an amazing idea - and one of the best YT suggestions I ever got! I have a new pasta maker which has been sitting unused in the kitchen for a few months now, so this will be it's new glorious, artistic destiny! The prints you made are really of good quality and I feel totally inspired. New subscriber from Switzerland! 💚
Cool! Maybe some day I will convert my Atlas pasta press. I saw a TH-camr video on how to convert those old manual credit card slip printers for mini 2"x3" linocut prints! Portable fun!
Hi, nice video. The second plate is that really aluminium? I see a sort of aquatint too, how do you do this with a aluminium plate? Also on my pasta machine a linocut would not fit I think.
Yes aluminium, no not aquatint, when you open bite aluminium it reveals a nice fine grain. Some pasta presses open up more than others, I have been able to print lino with this but only on thin paper. Here is a link to how I made the aluminium etching th-cam.com/video/sau7ECJN6Zw/w-d-xo.html

Love the second print so much
Excellent video! Thanks for the idea ... I can't wait until tomorrow when I'll have a go at making one in the shed! :D

I love that. Haven’t done that kind of printmaking since college.
Hi there, been looking everywhere to do this, what kind of wood did you get and what size would yu recommend
Very cool! What are the maximum dimensions you could print with this?
Thank you very much this is what i will do to my pasta press. Its brilliant 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I have a pasta maker somewhere in a box in the garage, this is a fabulous idea. I wonder if it would work with linocut prints too.
Awesome! 👏👏🥂
You are a genius. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really like this I shall have to try it!
Love this, I'm going to do this too❤
Great video, do you think this would work with lino as well?
Yes, just restricted to postcard size
Oh, this is very inspiring! Do you sell a pdf showing the dimensions, etc so I can make one for myself?
I have no plans. I guess that not all pasta presses are the same size and style

Looks great but how are the plates made?
I tested thin dry-point plates and etching plates.
