    Great video, after watching I located the pump and found a paperclip stuck inside. I only removed the intake hoes and pulled it out. Now it works great. Thank you

      Nicely done. It is only a temporary fix. It will happen again but you know the fix. Just rinse and repeat until you want to replace. =]

    I am so glad I came across your video! Finally some help after 4 days of trying to fix my washer myself. I’m just a stubborn woman who does it on her own! Anyways, everything you said worked and just ordered my new pump online. Hoping I can get it installed easily!!

      That is great to hear. =] it’s real easy to change the pump but I always take a photo just in case. They are plug and play. =]

    Finally found a video on my exact washer unit model! Going to try and do this and will report back.

      It did not work for me. I can't tell if the pump is dead or what. Makes a loud noise when I put it on Spin cycle and it won't drain. I'm not going to run a full wash cycle because getting the water out is a bitch for me. It's somewhat damaged and older so I think we're going to replace the whole unit. I'm not confident replacing the drain pump will improve anything at this point.

      @@steventyler3985 I’m sorry to hear that. You could always remove the drain pump and apply the proper voltage in a safe way and see if it’s the problem. My washer was 250 brand new. I got it from a scratch and dent place. Obviously mine is far from top of the line. They can be easy to fix however if it’s anything to do with the main board. Toss it.

    Hi. Thank you for the helpful video. I was able to access the drain pump and spin the propeller, and it now works. The only problem I'm having is now the rubber drain pipe will not stay attached to the drain pump tube. When I removed the rubber drain pipe from the tube, it was secured with some kind of sticky glue substance and a clamp. I have the clamp attached, but it does not seem to be enough to keep the pipe attached to the tube. Do you know the name of the glue used so I can purchase some? Thanks again.

    Man I don’t have a drain, I’m laying towels down. This is my third time and I said duck calling the repair man, I’m doing it myself. Hoping this helps

      Update, there wasn’t anything clogging it up, (the last two times the repairman came, my girls Bobby pins were in there) so I was shocked. But also numbed cause I assumed it was broken like it was he came the second time. Nonetheless I tried to spin the pump which was a little different than yours, it was wider and harder to spin but I think I got it to go around a few times. Then I put it back together and it drained! Thanks man

      @@mitchellward2536 that is awesome. It may fail again. So if it does just repeat your fix to get it going and then replace it which is what I did. I’m happy this worked for you. =] 💜 makes my day!

    Hello, for mine, water is not draining? Do you know if it the same problem? I need help removing the nail but it is really tight? Can you please help? Thank you!!

    • @803Garage
      @803Garage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It sounds like the same issue. If the water isn’t draining and you can’t hear the water pump I would check the drainage line then check the pump to make sure all the simple problems are checked. After that you could try spinning the pump which means you’ll need to take it apart. Then put it back together and it should run temporarily. Then just replace it. I hope this helps.

      Those little cheap pumps run hot. It would be good if they made the drain line pass over a heat sink on the pump to cool it as it’s draining.
