- Fish oil is usually only harmful for you if you're taking more than 7-8 grams per day. Most softgels are 1-2 grams. So you should be safe if you don't take more than 2-3 fish oil gelcaps per day. Pregnant, nursing, diabetic, and people on blood thinners for sure need to check with their doctors before using fish oil as a supplement.

I’m on dialisys (non diabetic ),I also have a aortic valve replacement (tissue valve) I started taking 1200 mg fish oil and stop it after 2 days I develop a really bad chest pain on left side of heart 3 after I stopped it and still I have pain and shortness of breath!! It’s this a side effect?

Lol no they are not!! They are great for your skin!! I used to get break out with acne but after i started taking fish oil my acne is gone!!!

Bone broth has collagen and glucosamine. Some people make it at home. It can be purchased too. You can drink it or use it in soups or other foods that need broth.

Hi MoneyMyke, You don't necessarily have to take fish oil with water but taking fish oil with water helps absorption and reduces the chance of a fishy aftertaste. It's best to have it with a full glass of water! 🙌
