Good vid. Ive got a 2017. Im currently ditching the 7 gallon road shower for a water pump/propane water heater setup. Also i highly recommend a dual battery setup. 2nd battery fits no problem.
@@JasonWebberYT Thanks man! Small world! I just found out about these trailers, so I did the usual dive through the youtube hole to learn all about them. Hopefully at some point I will end up with one of these or something similar. 👍Have a good one man!
Yep! Still using it. I love it. I’m actually starting a new series in 2 weeks where I’m moving into the TM and driving out west traveling to different national parks for a year. Gonna be interesting
@@JasonWebberYT Thank you for the reply and glad you are still enjoying your TM. Ill be putting in an order for one next week i think. I live out in CO, btw, and you will never run out of things to see in the West. Happy traveling!
Looks like a wicked trailer, and great to get the perspective of a fellow photographer! I've been flipping back and forth between getting a camper van (Delica, Westfalia), more traditional teardrop or rugged off-road capable trailer like this. The Taxa seems to be a pretty nice sweet spot of value and design/engineering. 🤔
Awesome review of an awesome trailer! Just a little correction, tho... This is not the smallest set-up that Taxa Outdoors makes. That would be the "Wooly Bear". They have 4 models in total, the larger ones being the Cricket and the Mantis. That being said, the Tiger Moth is the ONLY one I would consider buying, as the other three all involve canvas pop-ups. With the amount of rain we get on the Canadian west coast, IMO, canvas would be too much of a hassle trying to get it to dry out. Take care and enjoy your new rig!
True - I always forget about the Woolly Bear. And agreed with regards to the canvas. I plan on using this through the winter here in Upstate NY ... The snow (and the cold) wouldn't mix well with canvas. Thanks for the comment!
Excited to get out and make some videos with this thing! Let me know if you have any questions down here...

Thanks for the recommendation! I haven't actually had the need for any more power on my trips, but may upgrade at some point.
Great video. Cant wait for some camping videos. Keep up the great work
Thanks bro! Making one as we speak!
That's a pretty awesome trailer! Thanks for the tour!
Ben Horne Ben! Thank you my friend! I'm a huge fan of yours. Been watching your videos for years. I appreciate the comment!

Really like these and the cricket, but expensive. Looking at truck toppers here for camping. Will check out your vids and adventures!
Thank you!
Mee too!. How are you liking it so far?.
Jay Jayasuriya I love it.. can't wait for the weather to get better so I can get out more frequently
I own a Tiger Moth and live in the Catskills and camp in the Adirondacks, maybe we’ll run into each or pass on the road, happy camping. Bill
William Lopez I hope to see you on the road!
Jason.. did you get the "screen package"??? Looks very coooooool
Helen Cogan yes! I think they called it the soft goods package
Im curious - are you still using the Tiger Moth and if so whats your take on it after a good while of owningn it? Thanks!

The Taxa is great. It's been the perfect solution for my needs. Highly recommend checking it out

What, no commode?
Nope!
Like it but these offroad type trailers pricey.. what did you wind up paying for it? Most quotes I've seen are 15k+
What should I expect to pay out the door?
I'm really considering purchasing this one for my Jeep. Any issues so far? Criticisms?
No issues or criticisms really. I love this thing
That theres a pneumatic not hydraulic actuated door there on your trowl-er
Thanks for the correction!
The light over the bunk is red so it doesn't disturb your night vision. ie: submarines. It has nothing to do with "not attracting bugs" .
hamrmark haha yeah I learned that a few weeks after posting this vid. Thanks for the correction 👍🏻
COOL MAN GLAD YOU CLEARED THAT UP YA BOZO
