Thanks for doing another DLoops reaction! This one is one of four from a series called Songs for Lovers, recorded in record time whilst they were making their ‘Phoenix’ album, during a period where Jonah was temporarily off doing some other thing (his solo album), and so he features on only one of those four tracks, “Coffee Break Is Over”. Must watch this one, it’s priceless, and I can’t wait to see your face when hearing this for the first time! Meanwhile, this here is so much fun and shows off the chemistry between those two, and the pocket… Henrik tells the story of him and Aron locking themselves in one of the music conservatory rooms, after hours, and practising there for hours, sometimes doing a 2 or 4 bar groove, for hours. They even shared the same bass/drum teacher who gave Henrik lessons sometimes going on for hours, after his original lesson time was over. Inspiring stuff-. From their early, Loopified-days, when all of their vids were shot in B&W (Aron called them ‘really really bad’) to everything else since, Aron’s the man. Not just an insane drummer, but also the founder of Dirty Loops, composer of a lot of their tunes, their choruses, lyrics and often even of Henrik’s basslines (and also recently collaborating elsewhere in writing orchestral music), he’s a big part of the brains behind Dirty Loops. But hey who am I kidding, all three of them are! 🔥🔥🔥
This one is just a short moment of fun and delight for me, thanks for reacting to it. I assume you will do "When the time is right" next, DL's newest creation? If you are a musician, be prepared to be confused, but happy. Otherwise, just lean back and enjoy the ride (like me). :)

LOVE Dirty Loops. They manage to be both intensely musical and accessible, and that's a tough tightrope that many can't pull off.
