Holy smokes! I just reread Infinity in trade this June as well and noticed the "Hickman turn of phrase". As others have pointed out, I think he just likes to use similar verbiage. I totally enjoyed Infinity more than I thought I would. ✌❤😎
There's also a panel in Infinity where Black Dwarf kills a minion who spoke out of line the same way Nimrod killed one of its minions in Powers of X. Hickman definitely re-uses lines and tropes.

Ozymandias is/was Apocalypse's scribe. What do you think?
Hickman's era should have an anthology series on Krakoa. They did it for Manifest Destiny and Utopia era. So I hope X-editorial decideds to do that soon.
It makes sense that all these kids are a little hard to place as the Chimera data page calls 1st gen "divergent copies of a singular DNA source with a pure uncompromised X-gene." It'd explain why possible Quinten clone has more of a ginger hair colour or other small differences. I definitely think there's something going on here with these kids though, maybe they're 2nd or 3rd gen Chimeras (with 2-5 X-genes) or even just mutant children with extreme promise. I think if we ever look further into the future like with powers of X we're likely to see them as named player and possibly full-fledged X-Men. Another reason to not fully age the Chimeras is that Children are much better learners than adults long term, e.g languages, instruments, sports, the best in those fields start young typically, this could also apply to the mastering of one's powers.
Maybe they are teaching the Omega babies early TO NOT be pacifist remember that chimera of Nightcrawler on POX was pacifist and wouldn’t fight until he was pushed to the edge and that was one close edge. Teach them not to be pacifist be very proud of what they are and fight for what they believe. without distorting their perception of who they are. And clearly in Xmen 11 they do state they are having trouble on the militaristic side of protecting themselves so teach them not to be pacifist so they can protect themselves and their home.
Great evidence.. it definetly fits Hickman writing if something like this happens. Also in the future moira lived through sinister already made clones & as we know Magneto and professor x are the only ones who know of moira ability. I say that last part because that would mean everyone besides those two would most likely follow their path that occurred in moira other lives especially sinister. All in all I can't wait to see what choices are made different in this timeline & if this is the last timeline.
I hated the decision to retcon Scarlet Witch from not just being a mutant but also no longer Magneto's child despite all the years of history. That retcon really helped for the plot now. They also wrongly accused humans of destroying Genosha when the X-Men full well knows that it was Xavier sister- a parasite type mutant that pulled the strings in the shadows. I found it odd too that Jean joined up with this despite wanting to work with humans upon her resurrection by Phoenix. She even made a big speech in the UN that is definitely in contrast to the ideals shared at kraoka. I really want to believe Xavier has subtly used his powers to manipulate key mutants to fall in line with his plan.
You brought up an interesting point about alternate universe mutants. One in particular comes to mind: Stryfe. Stryfe obviously has a...complicated backstory, not to mention time travel probably runs opposed to Moira/Xavier/Magneto's plans, and he introduced the Legacy Virus.
the sinister chimeras theory makes sense. sorry if you covered it in the video but if you recall the first time they campfire with exo and the kids, sinister was creeping on them from the shadows. Year one of Dawn of X has mostly been the reformed villains running x squads.
i was just talking to someone yesterday saying "yeah yeah X of Swords is coming out, but when is Hickman going to pay off all the things that were alluded to in Power of X like Mr Sinister's chimera's, the breeding pits on Mars, etc..." There's so much cool stuff that was hinted at that hasn't shown up in the comics yet. I think this theory is amazing and i hope it turns out to be true.
Opening it up a little: Why not clone some of The Five? Not only would it not be a bad idea to have copies of those in charge of the resurrection process, but it could help speed up the process as well. Also, aren't three of them omegas anyway? And you did note that three of the kids could have been Proteus, Elixir, and Hope...
@@210SAi Yep. There are in fact actual rules against it. However, the video is predicated on exceptions being made for omega mutants and even attempts to show that the kids are versions of those characters. I'm just expanding that a little.
@iewnfiwenf weqfwefw 1) Proteus is an omega-level reality warper. Some of his feats are pretty scary. Also, as Proteus' psychological issues were due to his isolated upbringing, doing it this way may eliminate those issues. 2) There are actual restrictions in place regarding multiple resurrections. However, if there have been exceptions made (as per the video), it makes sense to look at all the options.
I would love this to be true. And we need Omega children too.. and i would love them to show more feats of these omega level mutants. Hickman should focus on them and give them an entire comic books where he displays their capabilities and shows how much of a treasure they r to Krakoa
Blending omegas, giving them a mental blank slate and a manufactured childhood where their "parents" were killed in the mutant massacre seems like a perfect plan. They would be their own person as far as they know, powerful and trained at a very young age by people who know every bit of what power limits they have and how to teach them about them.
That's what I was thinking too, my second thought was they are so cute! Also, the Chimera idea came from the Captains, and they are gonna produce a warrior class with warrior genes in their blood instead of forcing everyone to join their military.
I can see a coup to over throw the leadership Krakoa already has. And that may be the redemption arc that some of these guys need to get back in the good graces of the 616, looking at your Hank McCoy!
i think i was one of the few people really pumped for children of the atom haha! i figured there's no way it's a coincidence that a bunch of random kids just happen to have the same powers as some of the most famous x-men, right? i reckon back in the early pre-kroakoa days, moira got charles to get sinister to make some hybrids, and then release them into the world to go grow up with nice mutant families. charles would then wipe sinister's mind (charles has done this kind of thing to sinister on behalf of moira before so it's not that convoluted i think haha?) i think after side-kicking with the x-men for a while the COTA kids will all start to develop secondary power sets based on other famous/powerful mutant and will find out they're the first generation of hybrids that are destined to become kroakoa's greatest protectors. like if this wasn't the case, why would krakoa be training a bunch of children and letting them sidekick with the x-men? all mutants are functionally immortal now so mutants no longer need to train children to fight future battles. they could just get the old mutants who are already trained to fight and let the new generation just chill and have fun and enjoy paradise, right? but these kids will eventually be way more powerful than the old guard and thus better equipped to deal with whatever future threats come about so best to start their training now! sorry that rant ended up being way bigger than i thought haha. also great video, super cool theory about exodus with the kids, i didn't even consider that despite mistaking the kid for quentin for a minute haha!
Ya know by this description of Omega, Kate Pryde should be one. I don't mean 'power of intangibility', there are many with that pwoer and different ways to achieve that. no I mean phasing. We've seen a few others with phasing, Neophyte and Cipher(think that's right for the girl's spelling) both can phase, but neither can to same degree as Kate... or even half of what she can do. Kate is only one to phase a large group of people, or a vehicle. Kate has been shown to be able to phase something as huge as a skyscraper . Let's not forget the mile long, giant bullet made of super-dense alien metal that even Dr. Strange could not affect, and phase it through the Earth and keep it phased for a long time, months if not a year (damn comics weird time scale) and even keep it phased as i went through another civilized alien world.
Really enjoying these bits of Exodus as the fable teller from other-ising humans and building the legends of mutants. Also really enjoying his back and forth with Sinister. Also that one kid might be Cable + Storm. Also Kid Omega is obviously horn dogging all the time between deaths so with the hippy love fest that is Krakoan parties, maybe he's got a kid already tho that kid does look way too be old for that.
I like the idea of having official chimeras created and pulled more directly into Krakoan life as the path to get ahead of any secret version Sinister may be doing. Best way to get someone to stop doing something negative is to give them a satisfactory alternative. Not to say Sinister isn't still going to do something, well, sinister.
Willie Evans was a young mutant that first appeared in Fantastic Four,he was an Omega Level mutant. I hope to see him resurrected and returned. He also battled X-factor and Iron Man
I think the one you called iceman looked less like he had spiky ice hair and more like mist or steam was rising off of him. It could be an unstable early form just like iceman could only make snow on his body at first
Interested theory indeed, but what got my attention the most is the Magneto BLACK costume next to the white and red ones ?!?!?!? It looks to me me like the Past (Red) the White (Present and the Black (Future) !!!!! And nobody talks about it … what do u think ?!
@@jclaurent3108 That's just my thoughts! I could be off but during HoXPoX he was wearing white and was called an official ambassador. In X-Men 11 he dons the red into battle. And I think in his most recent solo series he donned the black for some black ops activity. Just my two cents. ✌❤😎
A new theory or idea I’ve been thinking abt has to do with the scarlet witches kids. The original Tommy and William maximoff were mutants so will the resurrection protocols apply to them? Ik that they were shards of the soul of a demon but to resurrect you don’t need to use the same method as the scarlet witch. Also what if when they call scarlet with a pretender it’s not cuz she pretended to be a mutant but rather that she’s pretending to be a human and erased her own x gene along with countless others.
Also Wiccan and speed have not be retconned yet to be humans, they have been mutants since they have been introduced so are we going to see them on krakoa?
I was thinking about how Mr. Sinister obsessed over the Summer's family, but if you look back when the Shiar abducted his parents, it was from Katherine that we got Gabriel (Vulcan) & Adam (X-Treme.) Adam's paternal side came from D'Ken's DNA making him only 50% human. The only thing all four mutants have in common was their mother, (Katherine.) Maybe the X-gene comes from the maternal side in this case & not the Summer's like Mr. Sinister thought.
If Sinister or Apocalypse is up to something sneaky, wouldn’t Professor X know? For instance, if these kids are chimeras, how does Charles Xavier NOT know? He’s backing up everyone’s memories all the time. Was this discussed somewhere that I didn’t read, or has this not been explained?
@comicbookherand is there any reason to believe those 3 kids aren't Kid Omega (Quentin Quire), Magik (Illyana Rasputin), and Armando Munoz aka Darwin (The Immortal X-Man). I only ask since she appears blonde and Sinister still had a hand in influencing her bloodline (through her grandfather). Darwin is the only black kid mutant with glowing or white eyes that I'm aware of besides Bishop. Quentin Quire pretty self explanatory. I'm pretty sure all 3 are beyond Omega level so it kinda fits. Thanks for the vids.
I think everyone of the mutants brought back do t have the original spirit. They are possed by spirits loyal to maphesto. What entity is letting the original spirt come back?on another note dose wolverine have his adamantium? How are they cloning his Adamantium?
@Comic Book Herald I really hope Hickman doesn’t bring in anything having to do with Cassandra Nova or the Phoenix. Cassandra Nova was a silly retcon of Xavier’s history and the Phoenix is just completely played out.
@Dave Manuel pay attention to what I’m saying. No one is arguing he isn’t powerful. His mutation just seems a bit out of place on the Omega level list. It’s a personal observation and opinion.
Proteus is one of The Five who resurrects mutants. Mr. M on the other hand has not shown up, but Mr. Sinister points out that no one knows where to find him (along with Legion.)
@Coral Ree which issue was this information given? It’s interesting that both Mr M and X-Man both essentially met the same end and neither has been seen since.
I don’t know if the kids looking like omega level mutants mean something considering it’s so easy for the characters to look alike yet at the same time look different based on who ever is drawing them. EMMA frost And Opal Luna Saturnyne looks almost identical other than the fact they are named or their costumes. There’s also moments where characters looks different or are unrecognizable and are only identified by their costume like psylocke
I don’t know if there’s a specific limit to the number of mutants for each power classification. However, Kid Omega is not a natural omega-level telepath, his telepathy was boosted when he took the drug ‘Kick’.
I get all that but I thought omega level meant the most powerful in their category.. How can there be two most powerful. Skill? Who'd win in a telepathic battle, Kid Omega or Jean? Who's "stronger" if they're both omega level telepaths?
Do you think that there is a reason that there are no Omega Level Externals? Could it just be their powers aren't high enough (questionable) or something else entirely? Especially Apocalypse, never understood why he was never listed even barring the recent External revelation.
My theory is this is the resurrected mutants especially the omega level prior to be aged to adults. This way they are indoctrinated to the Krakoaian way before being aged to adult hood
@@210SAi Oh yeah for sure but they're aligned to Krakoa (on paper). Is Shadow King really on the island though and not just Amahl Farouk? Shadow King isn't a mutant whereas Farouk is.
Exodus has shown he cares about the mutant race in the past. Not too long ago when the team was split between Winchester and utopia exodus got involved and was happy with what the Winchester half we’re doing but then went and tried to kill cyclops. Thankfully rogue and Hope stopped him and convinced him that they all were adequately protecting the new generation of mutants

The kid's mohawk is brown, and it's made clear that Quentin's style is based on old anti-mutant propaganda and is considered part of modern mutant culture back in Morrison's New X-Men. Fun theory, but nah.
Can we not call it 'indoctrination' and just call it socialization? Like...do kids not get 'indoctrinated' in human society(ies)? It just seems problematic to call it 'indoctrination' just because it's in Krakoa.
I’m sorry to put up a dissertation but.... I’d like to see you do a video about HOW the following ties into and effects the new status quo. Vargas claims to be the next step in human evolution, the "pure and legitimate Homo sapien superior".[2] Vargas is not a mutant, but is not fully human either, much like Captain America is a relatively perfect human physical specimen. He is genetically perfect. Children of the vault : They are not mutants, but highly evolved beings that have evolved from a baseline human genetic base over a time period of 6,000 years. Their society was raised in the hold of a ship where temporal acceleration technology was used to evolve a collection of individuals into superpowered beings. Due to genetic drift, they are a separate species from either baseline humans or mutant humans. The neo: Sometime in the course of human evolution a side-branch emerged who called themselves the Neo. They were Homo sapiens superior who decided to live reclusively, waiting for humanity to self-annihilate, for the Neo to inherit Earth. The Neo are Homo sapiens superior, and possessed X-Genes,but believed themselves to be the next step of human-mutant evolution and claimed (and were stated by Cyclops) to be stronger, faster, and more powerful than regular mutants. The Neo separated themselves from the rest of mutantkind and isolated themselves from society for centuries. Thy were affected by the High Evolutionnary's manipulations, and later by M-Day (including the lack of Neo births) just like the rest of mutantkind. However, they were completely killed by the Evolutionaries, considering them a separate species from Homo superior and a threat to its survival. I hope you are interested in unraveling AND connecting the dots.
Some of hickmans retcons piss me off. Emma frost possesed the body of jean gray for fucks sake, possible the most powerful telepath on the planet. Also, Majik is beyond omega level, don't for get that. And fucking the Acarlet witch, I don't care about that stupid retcon, she's both a mutant and Megnetos legit child, so is Quicksilver for that matter. I like the retcon of lorna dane being magnetos actual child, I mean she frigging threw the whole ilsland of Krakoa into deeps space by manipulating the gravity of the whole damn planet, maqgneto has never done anything quite that impressive, I'm sorry. And Forge can literally make a weapon to nutralize your powers with trash he finds on the ground. I hate this power level shit, this is the x-men not Dragon ball Z!
Correction, the females in her family have had white hair and blue eyes and a magical potential. BUT not all females are witches or sorceresses. Ororo has the potential but no training, thus she is not magical. Same for her mother, N'Dare (who is source of those traits, not her father David Munroe) . It's believed that the females in Ororo's bloodline have those traits was blessed by the Goddess, Oshtur (sister to Gaea and one of the Vishanti). according to Marvel Database, "For some unknown reason, since the dawn of Atlantis, this line of African women has been given distinguishing features of white hair, blue eyes, and powerful magic potential."

Blending omegas, giving them a mental blank slate and a manufactured childhood where their "parents" were killed in the mutant massacre seems like a perfect plan. They would be their own person as far as they know, powerful and trained at a very young age by people who know every bit of what power limits they have and how to teach them about them.
All I know is that I bet the cerebro sword is a component in the creation of nimrod.
Oh wow! I hadn't thought about that. How would that fit in with Colossus' brother stealing it? ✌❤😎
X-Revolution
i think i was one of the few people really pumped for children of the atom haha! i figured there's no way it's a coincidence that a bunch of random kids just happen to have the same powers as some of the most famous x-men, right?
i reckon back in the early pre-kroakoa days, moira got charles to get sinister to make some hybrids, and then release them into the world to go grow up with nice mutant families. charles would then wipe sinister's mind (charles has done this kind of thing to sinister on behalf of moira before so it's not that convoluted i think haha?)
i think after side-kicking with the x-men for a while the COTA kids will all start to develop secondary power sets based on other famous/powerful mutant and will find out they're the first generation of hybrids that are destined to become kroakoa's greatest protectors.
like if this wasn't the case, why would krakoa be training a bunch of children and letting them sidekick with the x-men? all mutants are functionally immortal now so mutants no longer need to train children to fight future battles. they could just get the old mutants who are already trained to fight and let the new generation just chill and have fun and enjoy paradise, right?
but these kids will eventually be way more powerful than the old guard and thus better equipped to deal with whatever future threats come about so best to start their training now!
sorry that rant ended up being way bigger than i thought haha. also great video, super cool theory about exodus with the kids, i didn't even consider that despite mistaking the kid for quentin for a minute haha!
Here comes Scottie Young w another X-Babies pitch...
If there is gonna be a Mutant religion that Kurt mentioned, then Exodus has to be his high priest
If Sinister is already starting to clone mutants, aren't they all gonna be messed up by the 4th generation if I'm remembering Dawn of X properly?
How do u not have more subs?!??!
Lol ask myself this hourly
You can always become a patron on Patreon! BTW Dave, I'm @ProfessorX3769. ✌❤😎
My theory was children of the atom was the kids who underwent crucible and wanted extra powers based on their heroes who would mentor them
It would be great if children of atom would take its story serious and make it about the first generation chimeras.
He also battled X-factor and Iron Man
RIP black panther 😞❤🙏
Chadwick Boseman
I think the one you called iceman looked less like he had spiky ice hair and more like mist or steam was rising off of him. It could be an unstable early form just like iceman could only make snow on his body at first
Interested theory indeed, but what got my attention the most is the Magneto BLACK costume next to the white and red ones ?!?!?!? It looks to me me like the Past (Red) the White (Present and the Black (Future) !!!!! And nobody talks about it … what do u think ?!
I think they signal his duties with white = ambassador, red = battle/war, and black = black ops/vengeance. ✌❤😎
DragonReborn3769 OK, I missed that, thanks
@@jclaurent3108 That's just my thoughts! I could be off but during HoXPoX he was wearing white and was called an official ambassador. In X-Men 11 he dons the red into battle. And I think in his most recent solo series he donned the black for some black ops activity. Just my two cents. ✌❤😎
DragonReborn3769 it’s true I did not read the Magneto special, didn’t like the drawings. Now I get it.
The glowing eyed storm child kinda made me think of Bishop/Cable combo...
Cross between Bishop and Storm?
Children of the Atom being Omega Level clones would be absolutely bonkers. But they've telegraphed how lame it's actually going to be :(.
Sinister created his own "The Five"...
For the "Elixir" looking child I think it could be either him or Cable mixed with Apocalypse.
Giving Mr. Fantastic energy rn lol
I think everyone of the mutants brought back do t have the original spirit. They are possed by spirits loyal to maphesto. What entity is letting the original spirt come back?on another note dose wolverine have his adamantium? How are they cloning his Adamantium?
Remember Ernst being Cassandra Nova?
I have a Cassandra Nova theory video scheduled for the future :)
@@Comicbookherald I hope we see Ernst and Martha soon, and if they gave Martha a new body now that they can.
@@Comicbookherald Of course you do! ✌❤😎
@Comic Book Herald I really hope Hickman doesn’t bring in anything having to do with Cassandra Nova or the Phoenix. Cassandra Nova was a silly retcon of Xavier’s history and the Phoenix is just completely played out.
When was children of the atom listed as a red level entry? I don’t see it in any of the books.
It was in Marauders 10
Comic Book Herald interesting. I get the digital comics and my copy doesn’t have that. It’s probably why I didn’t know about it. Thanks.
Also by going slow does not bring attention to Omega Army Project
But are the doners of these children okay with this, and do they spend time with these kids or not?
Probably not but all kinds of shady stuff going on since the Hickman run started
@@210SAi which part tge parents or taking their DNA without Consent?
@@210SAi Absolutely O G! I don't think the Quiet Council is in the habit of asking for things...especially with Beast around... ✌❤😎
@Ampocalypse W either/and
Im wondering why bishop isn't a omega level mutant. With his past/future and his training how has that not happened?
Omega level is sometimes obvious (Vulcan, Gene Grey, Exodus) but others are head scratchers (Iceman)
@@210SAi iceman can freeze anything with water in it instantly. Hes pretty powerful
@Dave Manuel pay attention to what I’m saying. No one is arguing he isn’t powerful. His mutation just seems a bit out of place on the Omega level list. It’s a personal observation and opinion.
I like cardinal also him and Rasputin needs to be in the 616
How long has it been canon that Jean is a stronger telepath than Charles?
A long while
Can gambit be included?
I think not, gambit is not an omega mutant.
He actually is except he has been lobotomized to reduce his powers.
@@JeryWorld2025 really no wonder he in other realties destroy other earths.
Nope, not omega level on the House of X chart. His DNA could factor into a Chimera combo though!
Have Mr M and Proteus shown up in the Hickman reboot?
Proteus is one of The Five who resurrects mutants. Mr. M on the other hand has not shown up, but Mr. Sinister points out that no one knows where to find him (along with Legion.)
@Coral Ree which issue was this information given? It’s interesting that both Mr M and X-Man both essentially met the same end and neither has been seen since.
@@210SAi Ah shoot, I don't know exactly since all this information has gelled together in my brain. I'm not the type of person who remembers exactly.
@@210SAi It's shown in House of X #5 when they describe the resurrection process for the first time. ✌❤😎
@DragonReborn3769 thanks! Gonna good back and review that issue!
How are there two omega telepaths?
What do you mean? As far as I know it's never been stated that there can't be multiple omega level mutants with the same powers
onyx081 Didn’t Quentin also use kick to boost his already really powerful telepathy? Maybe that has something to do with it.
I don’t know if there’s a specific limit to the number of mutants for each power classification. However, Kid Omega is not a natural omega-level telepath, his telepathy was boosted when he took the drug ‘Kick’.
John Osagie Yeah. Does that mean others have the potential to be omega level with kick? Is kick even still a thing anymore?
I get all that but I thought omega level meant the most powerful in their category..
How can there be two most powerful. Skill? Who'd win in a telepathic battle, Kid Omega or Jean? Who's "stronger" if they're both omega level telepaths?
Do you think that there is a reason that there are no Omega Level Externals? Could it just be their powers aren't high enough (questionable) or something else entirely?
Especially Apocalypse, never understood why he was never listed even barring the recent External revelation.
Elixer heals and kills
My theory is this is the resurrected mutants especially the omega level prior to be aged to adults. This way they are indoctrinated to the Krakoaian way before being aged to adult hood
That Exodus isn't aligned with Krakoa is a bit shady.
Mr Sinister, Apocalypse, Sebastian Shaw, Selene and Shadow King’s presence on Krakoa seem shady as well
@@210SAi Oh yeah for sure but they're aligned to Krakoa (on paper).
@@badmrbox Shadow King had a cameo at the end of Empyre X-Men #2. Dave has a theory he's going to cameo in different issues every now and then to create buzz amongst us fan boys but it will be much adieu about nothing! ✌❤😎
@@DragonReborn3769 I know but that was Amahl Farouk. It makes sense as he's a mutant. We got no clue if Shadow King is in control of his body. Wouldn't make much sense if he was.
Why not simply clones?
One word?
Nathan.
What’s wrong with Nathan? I’m really hoping he eventually shows up
I’m sorry to put up a dissertation but....
Children of the vault :
They are not mutants, but highly evolved beings that have evolved from a baseline human genetic base over a time period of 6,000 years. Their society was raised in the hold of a ship where temporal acceleration technology was used to evolve a collection of individuals into superpowered beings. Due to genetic drift, they are a separate species from either baseline humans or mutant humans.
The neo:
Sometime in the course of human evolution a side-branch emerged who called themselves the Neo.
Eff that I WANT RASPUTIN BACK
Some of hickmans retcons piss me off. I hate this power level shit, this is the x-men not Dragon ball Z!
only the fame witches in storm's family have white hair.
