your eye look makes your eyes look huge and absolutely gorgeous. you always do lovely makeup, but the shape you created is beautiful (i’m a fan of liquid liner)
The kosas thing just shows why "clean " make up is out of hand now the stuff people are saying they don't want in their products are presevatives there for a reason 🤣
Exactly. I'd love to own more kosas but their shelf lives are so short that they go bad in under a year. I already have too much makeup to ever use up but at least most of it I will have for years before it goes bad.
I used to only buy vegan, cruelty free from what I thought was natural indie brands. Nothing ever went bad on me. Idk what these brands are doing but I won’t be buying from anything Sephora considers to be clean.
That's why I don't buy as much Sunday Riley anymore either. I do love some of their products but they all go bad so quickly, and with those prices, it's not worth it. It does wonders for my skin when it's fresh, but when it starts to go even a little bad (usually 3-5 months), I start to breakout really badly and my face is generally irritated and not great looking. Don't get me wrong, I like things without silicones, fragrances, etc. But not having any preservatives at all isn't good. I have other products from even "cleaner" brands that I never even got to use before they went bad...in less than a year and being unopened. 😑
@@LCx829 because “natural” ingredients is somewhat subjective marketing. Also a lot of preservatives ARE natural! So natural (and clean) doesn’t necessarily mean no preservatives. It’s brands like Kosas that make these labels a problem
For the people who love essence because they make eyeshadow you can afford wait until beauty bay has one of theirs sales their 42 pan palettes come down to £12.50 and the quality of every palette is amazing I have most of them from the 9 &8 pan ones right the way up to 42 pan ones you won't be disappointed whichever palette you choose 🥰
I'd like to add to your comment for anyone who loves Colourpip and Juvias place, Beauty Bay is so good too!!!!!! I think they're slept on. Their mattes are PIGMENTED. Thank you for this comment this reminds me I need to get their NEW MOODS and DARK MYSTERIES or whatever it's called lol.
I don't think Essence is particulary loved because of their eyeshadows. It's other products like their mascaras or their collection highlighters that they most known for.
Unfortunately myself and many others have had negative experiences with beauty bay delivery and customer service. I ordered from them on Black Friday and to this day have not received my package, with 0 correspondence from them other than a tracking code when I first ordered. I now need to go out of my way to email THEM to ask what is going on with my package, and I have heard they don't get back to people. I'll never order from them again honestly.
Some people just are afraid of using highly pigmented eye shadows or they’re not allowed to use vibrant colors or they just do not like it and stay on safe side of makeup 😉
I mean i would like an apologise from Kosas , especially considering they're prices! Everybody makes mistakes and those are forgiven if you apologise, at least that you can do!!!!
The absolute HONOR to see my palette in your pinned comment as what you're wearing during your Worst of the Year video, one of the videos I look forward to every year!
You didn't mention it in this video, but you describing how the colourpop trouble maker palette wasn't for you really sold it to me. I appreciate the (not really a) recommendation. That color story is me in an eyeshadow palette.
I feel like that is one of the best things about Angie. Even if she doesn’t like something she still explains all the ways it might be great for someone else. Very rarely is a product a write-off in general (we saw some today ha).
The Kosas issue makes me legitimately angry: the *worst* makeup product is any that is unsafe and can potentially cause harm to consumers. There should have been a product recall notice issued in countries/jurisdictions that require it. Instead, they have quietly discontinued it and might be relying on hope that no one will report them to health and trade/product safety departments. If this is the case then they are showing they do *not* care about their customers even on most basic level. I strongly encourage anyone who receives expired, rancid, contaminated, or dangerous products (of any kind!) to report these issues not only to the company but to the retailer and any governmental bodies responsible for regulation in your country. If you are unsure of who to contact then get in touch with your local (town/city/area) general government/council and ask what procedures are and steps to take.
I can't believe that someone was stupid enough to curse at u for having an opinion about an eyeshadow palette. Literally the dumbest thing to get upset at someone for and that person must have no friends to get upset at someone for their opinion on makeup lol .
That’s funny you say the rare beauty was greasy for you. For me it was too drying and that’s why I returned it 😂 this just goes to show how a product is different for everyone.
It literally made my skin look dry, textured and flakey and I usually struggle with oily skin that separates face products! It was such a bizzarre experience for me.
I learned my lesson about Essence eyeshadow palettes this year. They are terrible! You can get amazing quality for a similar price from Juvia’s place and Colourpop!
I had roller ball glosses in the 5th grade (1970's) and we all collected each scent! I had bubble gum, butterscotch, & strawberry! They smelled amazing. No problem with rolling them for an endless amount of time. Lol They were sold at a small town drug store so I don't remember the brand.
I love videos where we see what didn’t work for you and why. I mean, I don’t want anyone getting cussed out over makeup when no one was injured. But we get so many “I’m obsessed! Here’s why you should be too!” Seeing underwhelming products is helpful.
Even if something is "good for the price " it's not worth it to me if I always reach for everything else because they're just great formulas if that makes sense. For awhile I had a ton of profusion palettes and elf bite-sized palettes. Yeah they were cheaper and the formulas were fine, but I never ever reached for them because I have better quality in my collection.
Like some others have mentioned, I like your reviews because you clearly differentiate between what isn’t a good formulation etc and what probably just didn’t work for you. Good job!
Yeah. Kosas played us dirty with those lip liners. Might I add I hate the concealer. It was so yellow on my skin, my husband was worried I was sick. 🤦🏽♀️
I absolutely LOVE a super light beige "concealer lip" especially paired with a dark black/grey smokey eye. The Mikayla lipstick leans way to pink/peach. I like a neutral beige or a brown base nudes
I’ve seen a lot of influencers say the Patrick Ta is crap! I was so close to buying thankfully I watched reviews. I bought 3 of the Jaclyn liquid lips and the colors were awful on my pale skin. I refused to buy more colors. 😤😘❤️❤️❤️❤️
I bought a Jaclyn highlighter and returned it the next day. She makes horrible highlighters. The only product I have of hers is the collaboration of morphe and her in the divine neutrals eyeshadow palette
Lol. You had me dying with the kosas lip liners. Saying they have a 12 month shelf life but it seems more like a 12 minute shelf life. Man I needed that. You crack me up.
Hi Angie :) I’ve been subscribed for YEARS now but since I went to college 3 years ago I’ve kinda fallen off the makeup train and stopped watching beauty videos but I’m getting back into makeup again these end of the year videos are always my favs I’m glad you’re still uploading and I’ve always enjoyed your videos:))
I totally agree with you about the Amethyst palette. The color story is beautiful but the formula is disappointing. I've been only using that purple in the center and blending my crease out with the pinky shade for a very quick look. That duochrome has an awful formula. Mine came broken and it just crumbles . CP has a consistency issue. I always thought they had amazing quality now it's either just ok or not good. I also think they make too many palettes. Who could keep up. By now they definitely have repeat shades. I just hope they don't drop the ball on their super shock shadows. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
I personally love the nyx wonder stick, but I always rub it on my brush and tap it in. I started by drawing it on and I agree it's a bit hard to blend. But warmed up on a brush or hand first, it's really nice. In my opinion 😁
YASSSS you have not been waiting to do this as long as we have all been waiting for it! Your critiques are a great combination of offbeat and blunt, and you do a great job of explaining why you don’t like some products.
I finally tried those EM cosmetics blush drops and I'm trying to see why people love them. It's syrup with no pigment, I literally stuck a piece of paper to my face and it stayed until I pulled it off. No
I’m a few years older than you and as an artist applying makeup brings me such joy. I love creating colorful looks but sometimes feel like I look more beautiful in neutral tones. But then I see you in this look and I’m reminded that colorful looks may not be traditionally a “ pretty” look it’s definitely a vibe.
Your eye look today is LIFE! I'm watching the video and checking out all your other platforms for it!! Love your content and thank you so much for all your hard work!!
I especially like when they include something I was actually considering buying, it's nice to hear some genuine criticism on products and can help you decide what to get too.
I'm playing with my makeup while watching this and have the Patrick Ta foundation on. It's one that I have to tell me self to stop using so my other foundations can get a turn. Lol but I'm DRY and live in the dry Colorado climate.
Why would ANYONE get THAT upset over disagreeing over makeup?! I appreciate your take on things and I don't always agree with you but I still love all your videos!
19:46 on the Patrick Ta foundation, I am one of those people that love it! I do have dry skin, so that might be why, but I also use it with a very light hand.
i wore the sugared jaclyn lipstick to work the other day (i work at ulta) and honestly i thought it wore rly well. definitly not for most ppl but it was a rly eye catching look i loveddd it
I loved the Urban decay lipstick, but I also feel like most lipsticks I try. I can definitely feel, so. The urban decay one was actually pretty comfortable in comparison for me
I like them too but ended up buying all of the maybelline versions since they are half the price after I tried 2 of the urban decay. Very similar formulas and I mix them sometimes to get different colors.
Great video!! Can't wait till your full face of the worst video!! 🤣 Also Wow ppl really cussed you out over that palette!! Well PSA I got it as a gift and it was terrible!! After having more shadow on my desk than my eyes after I got it looking kinda ok after only a few hrs the mattes we're totally gone like I had to put out a Be On The Lookout for my eyeshadow announcement!! 🤣 I love your eye look in this video so beautiful!! 💞
Ok so my three favorite foundations of the year; Rare Beauty, Haus Labs, Patrick Ta!! I have super dry skin and live in a dry climate, all three of these wear so well on me and last for my 12 plus hour days! Skin type and climate play a lot in preferences!
That top…. The color! 🧡 I’m not a fan of “clean beauty”…. I have an autoimmune disease and I need preservatives. Love from the spooky Pine Barrens in NJ
OMG that liner! When you said we would need 500 coats to get a glitter! My mind went to that challenge going around such as 100 layers of foundation, or lipstick. 😄 🤣 😂
I honestly love a lot of essence eyeshadows and have several palettes from them. They discontinued their city palettes and after realising people were raging online about that, they came out again with that miami and roma palettes. I was in store multiple times swatching those two and decided against them over and over until today (and here it isn't even 10 dollars, it's like 6,99€ or smth). So yeah, you're right, the miami palette is very mediocre. The city palettes they had before got actually hyped and besides a different formula they had a different layout and design as well, fewer shades in round bigger pans. Unfortunately you couldn't try the older palettes, they were so, so much better. They also have lovely other palettes throughout the year, limited editions etc. But the Miami palette just ain't it.
I’m surprised at the About Face and AF94 blushes! I enjoyed the 94 blush, so I picked up one of the cheek freaks, and love their blendibilty. Who’s shouting at you about Essence?? What a hill to die on 😂 Thank you, I enjoy a good Angie Roast Session 💕
Doesn’t Kosas eschew the use of preservatives? My Kosas cream cheek product went bad with a quickness…not worth it because of the lack of longevity. Clean beauty is really stupid.
My brand new Kosas cream blush duals came with a layer of tiny (condensation?)“bubbles” on top, I thought I just got a bad one but now I’m questioning their ethics🤨…
I’ve gotten that with lots of cream products before. It’s most often due to temperature changes, causing emollient ingredients to come to the surface creating small beads of liquid. It often happens with really creamy formulas, so it can happen to even high end formulas. For me, it usually happens in the summertime because of the heat during shipping and like coming in from cold and then warm temps. It’s completely normal. BUT, I also question Kosas as a brand because I hate how they don’t properly preserve their products. The whole “clean” thing annoys me because they’re using fear mongering as marketing and not protecting products properly, which creates risk for bad infections and reactions!
I've seen such mixed reviews on the Patrick Ta foundation. A couple oily skin types really love it, a couple really dry skin types love it, the few people that hate it have been combo to oily or combo to dry lol. I'm going to skip it regardless. I feel like a product like that will be used up incredibly quick if I love it, or it'll sit here for a year lol.
Love videos like these, and the in depth description of why a product didn't work for you specifically! Although our taste in eyeshadow formula/colours is similar (except for a shimmery inner corner, at 38 I still prefer that 😂) our preferences in face products are so different. I would describe my skin as normal as well, though mine leans dry in spots. As an example, I love the Bare beauty foundation & the AboutFace blushes etc. Give me glossy, juicy and yes, even sticky base products lol. I will say though, orange blush rules. On that we can agree ✌🏻😁
I havent tried any of these but I still agree with everything here ;) And I honestly don't understand how people can have such vaaast different experiences of products - esp when the products are straight up garbage?!
Today's eye look is E V E R Y T H IN G !! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I use the Mikayla lipstick so often for the easiest ombre look that makes my lips look naturally plump. It's very pigmented, so a dark Lippie/liner is transformed with the slightest amount. "Concealor of doom!" "I could fix my bathroom." "What's the po8nt of this product?" "I'm questioning if I'm living in an alternate universe." "I don't understand this product." "You have to put on 500 layers." "Come on!" "Huda just isn't one of them." "The best part of this is the idea of them." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 This is why I love your reviews!
I've been too busy to keep up with TH-cam this past week so I have quite a few videos on my watch later list. But I IMMEDIATELY clicked when I saw this one!!! 😂💖
The PT foundation does the same exact thing on me. It looks disgusting. I put it on in dim light in a hotel, thought it looked great. Got to my event and looked in the mirror and had to use napkins to rub it all off. I literally decided I would rather have nothing on my skin than have that. 🤢
Lmao I’m not surprised by any of these but the Kosas thing doesn’t sit well with me. Idk they’re a brand I kinda look the other way from after having so many wonky products back to back.
Burning lip gloss is good to wear when you have cramps or other pain you want to distract yourself from. That's when I use Too Faced lip plumper! Maybe the ABH gloss would work for that! 🤪👍
Hallo, Milani eyeshadows meh especially The Flora one is probably the worst one I bought this year . Also Kosas foundation, it was so smelling from the moment I opened it. Last item was the Phys Formula Diamond liquid shadow.
I noticed a ton of peach tones and red lipsticks hitting the TJmaxx which means noone wants those colors 😂 alot of colourpop hit their racks too so they must not be selling as much as they used to. I feel like they always over produce on their products. I want to try the rare beauty cream blushes or liquid blushes, I bought into the Fenty beauty liquid stain hype and honestly the colourpop ones are the same product for half the price
My Kosas concealer and original 10-second eye in Globe went rancid within about 6 months. Such a waste when they could just use an effective preservative system
I did not like a liquid eyeshadow from Juvia's Place, Fula, and I got fed up with the fallout from the Juvia's Place 6-color palettes: The Violets; I Live, I Love Ice; and Olori II.
Gm Angelica " I could fix my bathroom with this" 🤣🤣🤣. You are on 🔥🔥 with the jokes🤣🤣🤣🤣.loving them. Omgnes she went in on you... Do this.. give this viewiers a Palette that is great quality for maybe a little more .. than see.. what she says . Suggestions. 🥰Peace
Lord I live for this content! I predicted the concealer of doom. What have I tried that was bad this year not much but Colourpop SSS in MOON DAISY. Noooo pigment I know Lauren had said it. But I really thought it was going to do something for my brown skin NOOOPE. Wait how could I forget R.E.M. beauty the liquid shadows TRASH! Big big TRASH . Wasted my money
Angie you cracking me. I remember trying makeup geek contour i got at the time i was nc30ish so i got fair yeah it was high pigmented eyeshadow and green tone.

But then I see you in this look and I’m reminded that colorful looks may not be traditionally a “ pretty” look it’s definitely a vibe.
It's my 21st birthday today, and I love these videos! So thank you Angie, it's like a little present 🥳❤️
Happy birthday!! :D
Happy birthday!🎉💝
Hej Angie! Fellow Swede here! “Tipp-Ex” is called “White-Out” here❤ Thanks for the reviews. I love your content!
Your eye look today is LIFE! I'm watching the video and checking out all your other platforms for it!! Love your content and thank you so much for all your hard work!!
I can hardly believe we are at the end of another year. Talking about good and bad makeup products are my favorite videos.
I predict the evil concealer or the primer that causes continental face drift….😂
Does it make me a bad person to LOVE "Worst of" videos? Hehe
No I live for these train wrecks 💫💫💫💫
I especially like when they include something I was actually considering buying, it's nice to hear some genuine criticism on products and can help you decide what to get too.
I was really looking forward to this video! And i love the way you explain about a product you don't like! I'm looking forward to the best of 2022!🌸
I'm playing with my makeup while watching this and have the Patrick Ta foundation on. It's one that I have to tell me self to stop using so my other foundations can get a turn. Lol but I'm DRY and live in the dry Colorado climate.
This look is WOW!!! I love it soooo much! This and The green/blue in the Ace beauty video 2 weeks ago, wow wow wow im in love 🤣😍😍😍
Does anyone know what palett she used on this look? 🥺😍
“You’re going to have to be dotting for your life” 😂😂
😂😜
Why would ANYONE get THAT upset over disagreeing over makeup?! I appreciate your take on things and I don't always agree with you but I still love all your videos!
That eye look is STUNNING!!
Happy New Year!!
19:46 on the Patrick Ta foundation, I am one of those people that love it! I do have dry skin, so that might be why, but I also use it with a very light hand.
Time to break out the popcorn! It's the snarkiest video of the year 🍿🍿😎
This makeup just looks gorgeous, I can barely handle such beauty!
i wore the sugared jaclyn lipstick to work the other day (i work at ulta) and honestly i thought it wore rly well. definitly not for most ppl but it was a rly eye catching look i loveddd it
Oh, that UD glossy lipstick thing is sooooo sticky. Ugh I hate it. I don't know how so many other folks love it, i just can't.
Huda's Sapphire Obsessions 9 pan palette from a few years ago is one of my favorites for when I want blue eyeshadow and I'm traveling
Hii Angie, when does the palette declutter come out?❤️
Wednesday :)
you are very quickly becoming my new favorite beauty youtuber
I loved the Urban decay lipstick, but I also feel like most lipsticks I try. I can definitely feel, so. The urban decay one was actually pretty comfortable in comparison for me
I like them too but ended up buying all of the maybelline versions since they are half the price after I tried 2 of the urban decay. Very similar formulas and I mix them sometimes to get different colors.
Love your videos Angie it makes me feel better that I am missing half my makeup collection
That top…. The color! 🧡
I’m not a fan of “clean beauty”…. I have an autoimmune disease and I need preservatives.
Love from the spooky Pine Barrens in NJ
Roller ball glosses in the 70’s worked very well.
I predict the pacifica bronzer is #1 hahah
Good one. That Or the Jaclyn cosmetics concealer 🤣🤣
hahaha
@@ashesonmylashesheathereaglen true true :D
“I could fix my bathroom with this one”😭😭😭
"cement" and "lard" excellent descriptions! I thought of "spackle" for the one you described as cement. 😄
You look fabulous in the bright orange shirt!!
You always make me laugh when you comment on products that you don't 🤣 😂 😆
I am looking forward to best of 2022 🎉
OMG that liner!
Your makeup look is amazing!!! Love the colours!!!
I’m surprised at the About Face and AF94 blushes! I enjoyed the 94 blush, so I picked up one of the cheek freaks, and love their blendibilty.
Who’s shouting at you about Essence?? What a hill to die on 😂
Thank you, I enjoy a good Angie Roast Session 💕
Doesn’t Kosas eschew the use of preservatives? My Kosas cream cheek product went bad with a quickness…not worth it because of the lack of longevity. Clean beauty is really stupid.
I'm low-key excited to see which makeup I've been wanting but didn't buy ended up on this list 🤭
" skuchie- skuchie" laughing 🤣 🤣 🤣 😂 🤣 🤣
Today's eye look is
E V E R Y T H IN G !! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I use the Mikayla lipstick so often for the easiest ombre look that makes my lips look naturally plump. It's very pigmented, so a dark Lippie/liner is transformed with the slightest amount.
"Concealor of doom!"
"I could fix my bathroom."
"What's the po8nt of this product?"
"I'm questioning if I'm living in an alternate universe."
"I don't understand this product."
"You have to put on 500 layers."
"Come on!"
"Huda just isn't one of them."
"The best part of this is the idea of them."
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is why I love your reviews!
I've been too busy to keep up with TH-cam this past week so I have quite a few videos on my watch later list. But I IMMEDIATELY clicked when I saw this one!!! 😂💖
Angieeeeeee- just received your beautiful Hela palette. I love it .
Yay! Thank you!
The PT foundation does the same exact thing on me. It looks disgusting. I put it on in dim light in a hotel, thought it looked great. Got to my event and looked in the mirror and had to use napkins to rub it all off. I literally decided I would rather have nothing on my skin than have that. 🤢
I love the editing! ❤
Have a day y'all ! Tried 1 Essence mini shadow pallet and never again. Cussing because of makeup???!? Crazy how sensitive people can be.
Lmao I’m not surprised by any of these but the Kosas thing doesn’t sit well with me. Idk they’re a brand I kinda look the other way from after having so many wonky products back to back.
Angie, this is random but idk if I’ve ever heard you mention in a video what you use to wet your shimmers before applying?
I think the hot liners are gonna be reformulated. I work at Sephora, and they said there was something wrong but no specifics.
Burning lip gloss is good to wear when you have cramps or other pain you want to distract yourself from. That's when I use Too Faced lip plumper! Maybe the ABH gloss would work for that! 🤪👍
Omg love that technique 😅
Your thumbnail is everything lol
Hallo, Milani eyeshadows meh especially The Flora one is probably the worst one I bought this year . Also Kosas foundation, it was so smelling from the moment I opened it. Last item was the Phys Formula Diamond liquid shadow.
I have the other Glitter Pills from Half Magic and that silver one, and the silver one is soooo watery. The others aren’t like that 😢
I noticed a ton of peach tones and red lipsticks hitting the TJmaxx which means noone wants those colors 😂 alot of colourpop hit their racks too so they must not be selling as much as they used to.
I got an ad for uber eats about Portugal in the world cup and I cried a little but your video cheered me up 🤣
I love my Brite lite highlighter and amethyst palette 🙈🙈🙈
I spoilered myself in the infobox because I wanted to know what you are wearing - send help XD
Same!!!! Lol I think it’s just a habit … i always check
The swatched essence matts look like bruises, holy cow!😂😂😂
Angie you cracking me. I remember trying makeup geek contour i got at the time i was nc30ish so i got fair yeah it was high pigmented eyeshadow and green tone.
