Halo sir.i am also from maharashtra. Will the r .t.o. police take any objection òn such changes and removing the seat when you tra vel anywhere in india. Do we have to take permission from r.t.o. in maharashtra. Have you taken such permission. I want to use skoda as camper.

no need to take permission from RTO. Removal of seat has nothing to do with modification. adding sleeping modification is not any type of modification in the vehicle.
