I've been to Skinningrove whilst on a cycle tour around the GB coast. Kids had set fire to tyres in a shelter by the harbour, and this was about 3pm. Even though I was on a bike that cost £1,500 and I had about another £500 worth of gear on my bike, nobody took any notice of me. I didn't bother them and they didn't bother me. I said 'alright' to a couple of really rough looking guys, who could have robbed me in an instant, and they were 'alright, mate'. Worst place I've been in the UK doing such is easily Merthyr Tydfil, where I felt lucky to get out with my life, never mind my stuff.

The Grove has a lot of visitors for the beach/scenery in the summer months. Great people who will help you out if you were in need. I've lived here for 1 year and it's been great. Finding work was tough but I even managed that eventually.
