The audio sounds very nice and stable even at a far distance. Just curious how far can the signal to handle before it starts to go weak? Like with or without obstacles in general. Nice video again bro and glad to see you uploading again :D

@@markfriday Subscription done!. The story behind this purchase is because as the owner of my Latin band, I got hired to perform in a discotheque here in Madrid, my surprise was that it was a small band, a trío, when I got into the place the stage was far away from the DJ booth where the main mixer was located.
They did not accept to run cables across the place, and because we use backing tracks to help the performance, I always am in charge to select the repertoire from my iPad, one because I am the lead singer, and two because as per the crowd's mood, I change the way that we play the music. My wife which is my sound engineer never had anything to do with repertoire since we started with the band 6 years ago, and she was nervous a lot. I instructed her in 10 minutes how to select the tracks and thanks that I use both wireless mic and In Ear Monitor, the show went very well...
Many years ago, after trying several transmitters-receivers I've decided not to use them anymore, because the music used to be interrupted, many of those devices were working at 2.4Ghz, except one AKG UHF that was the worse.
I was in trouble trying to get something reliable when saw this BOYA on Amazon, but the lack of confidence made me reach your video, which is the best explained among half dozen that I could see.
If you want please subscribe to my channel The Latin Ensemble, where you can see me performing a lot of styles. Thanks again!

    Nice review, thanks.
What frequencies does it work on (cannot find it on Boya site)? Do the volume buttons change gain and how do you change freq on rx/tx? How "hot" is the output - can it be used with cameras with not so good preamps? How long the battery lasts, how long doescit take to charge and can it be powered by power bank (not that you would ever want to... it's just too cumbersome). I personally prefer AA battery because they are easily accessible and easily replaceable. Have you tried the two (theree) sets together? How's the lavalier compared to Rode?
Can you remove the cold shue mount (for carrying it in a audio bag or attaching it to a handstrap of the camera, for example... or to replace it, when it breaks, and that does happen in field use more often then it should). Does it (shue mount) fit in the sony cold shue?

The one you were mentioning is an older model which uses double AA batteries. This one already has built-in batteries which can be charged via type C.

@@joppobro thanks for clarifying. Yes, you will be able to put in two microphones that will be separated into either two different tracks so you can adjust the levels separately in post or mono to have a more easy workflow as long as you preset levels correctly beforehand.
