I love your latest content, Kat! It's so on point because we have been going over possible hotels for our visit in May and the Katajanokka came up as a suggestion and so did the Bob W. Decisions decisions....!!
Kat!!! Thanks to you, I learned Finnish hard today, and I understand because you explained it directly at the hotel. And I learned Finnish happily because of you. You're always healthy, and I'm always support for you.😊💪❤
I love this!!! Thank you for doing this! Your method of teaching is so wonderful. The visual learning is exactly what I need, and I truly enjoy the content. It is so appreciated. 😊
The matto (carpet) looks like a Jackson Pollock painting. Once again, the Finns show their cleverness and adaptability in repurposing old things for new uses.
To me the Finnish language sounds so very cool this is a great language to be bilingual with i believe it seems like a very deep way to express yourself i hope to learn it someday but I'm working on learning the top most spoken languages first i got Spanish at a B2 is say going to start Mandarin in 2 or 3 months Thank you for the videos!!
@@KatChatsFinnish Not only for the language immersion, but for the locale (its surprising transformation), and the playful mood of your presentation. You seemed very relaxed. I take it Sidney wasn't allowed to come.
Bath foam? You mean like a bubble bath? Dialogue from the movie _What's Up, Doc?:_ Eunice Burns: Howard, why is a grown man taking a bubble bath? Howard Banister: It came out of the faucet that way, Eunice.
Thank you so much.. That was a really useful video.I like how you repeat words a few times so I can get the exact pronunciation. By the way .. speaking of the hotel .... There was an insect on the ceiling 😂
7:02 that avain is bigger than modern lukko 8:06 i didn't expect that camera would be that small 8:28 that bathroom wall looks like 8 bit themed What would do when you suddenly enter in 1990s while vlogging and suddenly you see prisoners and police. And police says what are you doing here?
Wow....at 5:45 you mentioned "punainen muuri" and said muuri is wall....earlier you said seinä....and I typed in muura by mistake into a translator and it came up as masonary.....so I was thinking red brick wall....then I typed in muuri and it came up as wall with seinä also meaning wall. Wow again, mind blown...🤯.....kiitos
"Päälle" means literally onto (something), over (something from elsewhere), and "päällä" means on, on top of, over. These are words that are used when referring to turning something on (päälle) or something being on (päällä). Tietokoneessani on virta päällä (The power is on in my computer) Laita/pistä/pane TV päälle! (Turn the TV on!) etc.
@@khoavo5758 There is a related term, "pois päältä" (literally "away from the top"), for example "Ota pallo pois laatikon päältä" (Take the ball away from the top of the box), which is used for referring to turning off or a device being turned off. Laita valot pois päältä (Turn off the lights), Onko sinun puhelin pois päältä? (Is your phone (turned) off?)
This is so cool. The fact that a prison can be shut down completely and changed speaks volumes about the country ❤
Yeah it's super cool what they've done to the place!
Opin tän videon avulla jotain uutta! Eli kiitos ihan hirveesti Kat 😊🙌🏻
Kiitos hirveesti sullekin!
Interesting video turning a former prison to a hotel! I'm pretty sure it gains a lot of attraction. Thanks for all the new words in today's video!
Thank you a ton Marisol! And yeah, it's quite interesting what they've done to the place!
Kiitos! Love your videos.

I have a question, does the word "päälle" in "Laitetaan valot päälle" refer to the room, like in "let's put light on the room"? Thank you!
I think it’s just referring to the light, let’s turn on the light

I am on a budget. Can I book for three nights in an ordinary working prison for the last weekend in January?
You might not get to do much sight seeing :P
Score 10 for the forward roll and a GOLD medal. 😁
How come you haven't put any weight on over Xmas like the rest of us have????
Hahah kiitos xD
