Love this show so much! When season 4 ends I go back to season 1 and start it all over again lol. I just wish that they could have would have gone on. Started with Henry VIII and finished with Elizabeth I.
It would've made so much sense to follow through with the reigns of Edward, the disputed Lady Jane, Mary, and finally Elizabeth. But, perhaps that would've been more commitment than desired.
The MOST AMAZING series EVER!!! Every actor, every scene was wonderful. The costumes, music, settings and history were and are the best!!!!! I’m watching it again for the 5th time! Can’t wait!!!!!❤❤❤❤
Ich glaube, ALLE die diese wundervolle Serie gedreht haben, sind sich nicht bewusst welche Leistung sie vollbracht haben!!!!Vom kleinsten Mitarbeiter bis zum Starschauspieler!!!Absolute Spitze.
I Love..How this Writer confronted Henry, in His Ending. WE, as modern Enthusiasts, would have wished...to "call Harry out".. On so much of His Actions! Bloody Brilliant Finale! Thank You!
I loved that history was impressed on everyone watching during an excellent "soap opera". The story of Henry VIII is cemented in my mind because of The Tudors, aware of some details for the series. There are some series now taking so many liberties and leaving real history behind that I'm worried for the next generation.
Henry VIII wasn’t quite as young as he was portrayed in The Tudors, though the age difference wasn’t overly exaggerated. The real Henry met Anne Boleyn when he was 34. He pursued Anne for 7 years and married her when he was 41. Henry remained fairly fit and slender until after a jousting accident at the age of 45. The resultant chronic discomforts and his appetite for food and drink created the weight gain that plagued Henry’s later years.
I love the Tudor’s I watch it over and over again ❤ it’s a classic n I love the story n history of it all ! Even if some was fake for tv but truth is king Henry’s court was so full of scandals and crazy things that it does not even need fake added to it !
I found it historically close to the real story. Those who do not know the facts, believe it’s all entertainment. They actually got the closest version of any previous Tutor movie.
I love the Tudor series, watched it multiple times. I love the history of the England royalties. But I disagree that you can’t keep the story historically accurate and not also entertaining.
Yeah I thought he ate as young Henry- but I think they should have recast older Henry 😬 he struggled to get the old, obese and sick psychopath coming to the end of his life down believably. He did try though- he just couldn’t quite get it right:)
I agree. He nailed young Henry's personality right and how he progressed into this infamous psychotic King. I honestly wished that they portrayed his obesity health issues as well.
Jonathan Rhys Myers was genius in his role as King Henry VIII. Watching many times for all which we cannot take in at once. What a beautiful chapter brought to life.
I rewatch and zoom in on the costumes and scenery. It is just beautifully done and I never tire of it.
Me too. 😀 I really love all of the ladies dresses, headpieces and jewelry. Even their hairstyles are pretty. It's just beautiful to look at.
I would have loved the show more if they used actual tutor costumes
Great series! One of my favorites! Still watching it
I still watch this
Me too. After a while I still can start again and again...
The Tudors was such a good show but I didn’t NOT expect some of those scenes😭

I wish there was some good scenes of Catherine and Henry ( of Aragon ) because they didn't really get along before anne

So far, I have not heard mentioned the series music from Trevor Morris!
It set the scenes and I had to have the Soundtrack.
Such emotion.
I enjoyed the series. It was the closest I have ever seen in something that was not
documentary. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🌹

Bloody Brilliant Finale! Thank You!
LOVE THE FINAL WITH MARY....
I love Tudor show the most and all actors. Talented. I rewatch again again until now 2023.

The English know how to make a period drama.

Actually he was made king when he was 17. By the time he met Anne he had been married to Kathrin for almost 20 years.

Except it’s just entertaining…not exactly historical truthful. But yeah, it’s fun.

@mistressseymour Thank you so much for these extras! Would you please upload the rest of the features from that exclusive bonus disc?
Like the crown I think they should have changed the casting half way
So we get both a young atlethic and old fat henry VIII

Where do you watch it?

Right? Like the history was perfectly entertaining on its own 😬 it was a crazy time.
@@yunfenglu6619I've seen this show listed on Netflix. The Borgias had the same film crew and is well worth a watch if you love history dramas.
How did I not know Jean Valijean was in this ?!? 🤯🤯
Покажите пожалуйста сериал полностью это такой шедевр а актёры просто гениальные и очень красивые!
I thought Charles Brandon was far more intriguing and engaging than Henry was.
I didn't like the voice change with king henry....too theatrical by actor Jonathan rhys-myers.

The West Wing….? It didn’t quite meet that standard. Not for want of trying….😂
Shame what happened to Rhyse so much promise but unfortunately alcoholism took hold.
I don't want yanks telling me about English History, thank you.
That's why it's a dramatic series, not a documentary. It's called fiction for a reason. It's not supposed to be historically accurate.
