If you hold down the CTRL (command for Apple PCs) key you can select each shape you want to edit. Then when you choose the type of edit you want to do it should apply that to all the shapes you'd selected. Now this is a tip that can be applied to any design:
Select all the shapes you want to edit, go to the line operation drop down menu in the upper left most side of the software, choose the line pattern you want (dashes, dots, etc), these will change all the selected shapes in your design into that pattern. You then select how to create that shape (cut or draw mode). Once the file is on your machine you can use it in draw mode to create connect the dots and string art templates. To use colors to distinguish different areas simply save those as their own layer and assign them a color in the software. Then when it comes to drawing it the machine should allow you to change pen colors after it completes each layer of the design. Or if that seems like too much of a chore just press the pause key on the cutter, change the pen, then press resume, the machine should resume from where it left off.
I would suggest playing around with this until you're comfortable with it. You can use the color features of the software with the optional feature that allows you to make designs in the software, create & attach registration marks, then save to export as .PDF, which you can then print. Once printed you can feed it back into your cutter to do whatever you please to it. You can also make edits in the .PDF to exclude the registration marks. Effectively turning the CanvasWorkspace software into a sort of desktop publishing tool. Or at graphics design tool. As a .PDF I suspect you could use it with other brands of digital cutters/plotters like Cricut, Cameo, etc. Commercial cutters like the Intec machines (SureColor series) that use colors codes to know what tool operation to utilize might also be able to be setup using CanvasWorkspace in this fashion.

The Rhinestone Kit has the ability to turn text or objects into Rhinestone projects. You can also locate Rhinestone patterns and text in places like Creative Fabrica. The Scan N Cut will cut out SVG Rhinestone designs if you locate any that you like. To note: Rhinestone designs are really just small circles placed strategically into the design. For small, easy projects you could do this manually at a pinch.

Hello Create with Sue and Scan n Cut, I was wondering are scan n cut rhinestones glass or plastic?
Hi, now this is an interesting question. I would like to say glass however they could be a very hard acrylic. They do NOT feel plastic like at all. If you do the "teeth" test they feel like glass against your teeth. Hope that helps you a bit.
I do not have the program with all the rhinestone sizes is this a new program yours does not look like mine?
There is a free trial kit that is included with some Scan N Cut models. The trial kit does not come with the activation card, only some of the other accessories to make Rhinestone projects.
The full kit includes an activation card that is installed into Canvas Workspace and adds the Rhinestone sizings, extra designs, and features. I have both the trial kit and the full kit.
