@@mrmica5.0 No, the exhaust itself frees up +18 whp before any tune. The stock exhaust is way too restrictive and very small in diameter. That is why it is so quiet. You should try it out. RR Racing tune added another +8 whp on my RCF.
I find myself saying "TH-cam, youtube" like you do in the intro 😆. Sounds amazing my guy! You have one of the most tastefully modded RCFs I've seen. I would do the exact same ones if I had the budget because I would daily it. Is that a wrap?
lol. Glad it’s a catchy intro lol and no the blue was a wrap. Black is the original color of the car, and thanks for the compliment. Means a lot. This car is fun and definitely perfect for daily driving. 💯
Sounds amazing and I know it does because I have the exact same system on my RCF. What's nice is you do not get any type of cabin drone noise at cruising speed. However, when you apply power it brings nothing but smiles and harmony to your ears. You are also correct on the wheel assessment, when I switched from the 20-inch rims back to the 19-inch I quickly noticed an increase in performance due to the less unsprung weight, and the gas mileage got better as well. Keep the videos coming!!
@@hewantsmoke83 i had one with custom exhaust. Deleted the rear cats and ran 3 inch to two single exit mufflers. I can't tell you how many people told that car sounded crazy. I really miss it and wanna get another one but older so i can get it tuned this time around.
@@szjm19 it’s not loud on either just cruising. I’d say about a 5 stock and a 6 with the Invidia. Once you pass 4k rpms it starts to loud. The exhaust brad new is louder but after about a month of driving it will get deeper and louder.
I was thinking about it, but I don’t do much turning . I’ve been to the canyons a few times but this is my daily. I’m waiting for Chevy to build my C8 Z06. That’s gonna be the car I race out.
My ISF with RR Full exhaust is also perfect sounding it does add power. I honestly dont want headers just because it's too loud and raspy. eventually I may go headers but just for power only cause the car sounds perfect with catback imo
Agreed. I’m just going headers to add power plus do a review of a FBO Lexus RCF. Great for the channel. Also as long as you’re not turning up on the RPMs the car won’t sound too loud. Just cruise and you’ll be fine. The Catback is all you need tho. I totally agree with you on that one. Thanks for the comment and support.
Same setup im running the invidia w/ res delete on my 19 rcf 10th anniversary edition! It definitely opened it up a bit but now i still want more sound lol
Nope. I was on the highway when I made the video. The car is very well insulated. So you can talk on the Bluetooth in the car and with other passengers and hear everything perfectly fine.
With the RCF as long as you shift at a low rpm you’ll be fine. If you going over 4,000 rmps then yea it can get loud, but just cruising in auto mode it will be fine. Thanks for the comment and support. 🙏🏾
How can you not love this car???!!!!!!!
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Love the car, but the price is what kills it, too expensive, used it's okay but new there are other cars out there better for the money.
@@yume8380it’s a daily commute sexy reliable car it’s not a hellcat
@@jtbear77 Oh I agree with you, reliable is Lexus's game, RCF is a great car but unfortunately people are not buying it more.
Cool video. Short answer. Yes it does. About +18 whp.
💯💯💯 lol yessir!!
Yea...when tuned

Nice! So when you get the ppe headers on you’ll really feel and hear the difference. That what I have
Oh yeah. Can’t wait. The car will be done once I put the headers on. From that point it’s race time lol.
@@hewantsmoke83 yessir lol 💯
How would you rate loudness at cruising speeds and low rpms stock compared to Invidia? Rate both on a scale 1 to 10.

You have to get the rr racing strut tower brace. I have it and you can feel the difference in turns.

Ever considered adding a throttle controller? It won't add any HP. But it'll definitely make the throttle more responsive

does it drone on the highway at all?

The RCF will be on the chopping block by Lexus soon I bet, it will live on as a great bargain reliable GT just like the Lexus SC430.
