How does it compare to other single DD's like Kato/Oxygen/Origin for example? No to be that guy but yeah, S12's are kind of a cheat code - tried and tested, great driver, great with EQ. I haven't had any FiiO IEM's so far but you kind of sold me on the "lovely vocals" which is what my library mostly consists of. And althought there are a better options (as always), i just want to upgrade my single DD to either Oriveti Dynabird or FD15 mostly because of aesthetics as i prefer Planar/BA/Hydrids/Tribrids. W vid as usual
@@PrimeAudioReviews Sounds good. In general, i just something that would sound a bit more open, less bass-bloated bleeding everywhere, clearer/more forward vocals than Tin T3+. So if you have any more suggestions (other than FD15 and now the Delta) i am open to hear it, cheers! I was looking around Squiglink and there is a shocking amount of single DD's matching T3+ on graph. I thought after that many years someone would come up with something a bit more creative than T3+ but i guess we get to see the limitations of single DD? Softears Twilight seems a bit more unique but i don't see myself in any universe spending 700€ on a single DD.
I have both. The fh3 when comes to loud volumes. The bass struggles and distortion starts to appear.l and the treble was to much, so I mod them. The fd15 I place a filter sponge inside the red nozzle , what makes image 3d vanished a little.
Hmm, tough question. I compared both in my video and written review - you should check those and make a decision based off that because they're both good. Alternatively, check the ArpegEar Hane which is excellent at a similar price.
Ah, missed this comment somehow. The Explorer has more bass and a warmer sound signature but also better treble extension. The FD15 sounds cleaner and slightly more natural but it's not as dynamic.
Excellent review. I don't know why people dislike mmcx connectors. My fh3 is still going strong after four years.
Same here
They're fine if you get a good quality one - the ones on the Tin Hifi T2 were awful.
Great review 👍👍💛

I would not recommend Dynabird - it's simple not very good. The FD15 is a good choice but if you want to save a bit of money check the Clavelon Delta.

Cómo se comparan con los EA1000?
EA1000 has better technicalities.
I have both. The fh3 when comes to loud volumes. The bass struggles and distortion starts to appear.l and the treble was to much, so I mod them. The fd15 I place a filter sponge inside the red nozzle , what makes image 3d vanished a little.
Thanks for the review! How is this compared to the Kefine Delci AE? Both have single DD and with filters.
Delci ae is nice. It doesn't have the timbral quality of the FD15 (not saying it's bad tho) and the vocals aren't as forward but it's got a fun bass.
Fiio FD15 vs Fiio FH3 2024?

What about noise cancellation??
These aren't Bluetooth earphones so they don't have ANC. However, the passive noise isolation is quite good, so long as you use the right eartips.
Just curious as to how the FD15 compares with the AFUL Explorer? Great review!
