Did you know that Cave Island is currently the third shortest song in the franchise with a runtime of 1 minute and 37 seconds? It's safe to say it needed the extra length.
Cave Island especially needs it so they can finally fix the overcrowding issue they plagued the magnificent song with, plus it's a cacophony, cacophonies are supposed to be fairly long songs in order to fully capture the dramatic flair and raw emotional power that they're meant to bring forth in their diverse anthems.
The power in punkeltons voice caught me off guard when I first heard it, but in a good way. Adds a lot of impact during that heavier part, and also adds a nice change of tone since the monster only has so many phrases and structures to its voice. I much prefer its first track because of this. I could see how others may not prefer that, but I really like hearing people trying to do their own vocals on monsters with semi strict voicing rules and I was pleasantly impressed with the effort put into it, not to mention the other parts, but I feel like thats more obvious. The selection of monsters here are excellent and don't intrude on the song, though adds to it in a very nice way, and none of them feel out of place or overplay in my opinion. tldr: music guud 👍u talent

OMG Noggin and Quarrister make so much sense on the island, I'm kinda sad they aren't there in the original game. I love how Sooza and Punkleton add a slightly terrifying, dreadful vibe to the song almost like you're in a forbidden part of the underground while Candelavra and Rootitoot dial it back a bit and lean into the fantastical magical underground dungeon. Drummidary and Tring are also really cool and just make so much sense I wish we got an expansion to the Cave Island so badly

I’m glad you’ve enjoyed my video. To answer your question, the main structure of the song is the official soundtrack version of Cave Island. However, I have included the sounds of Riff, Pongping, and Mimic from download TH-cam videos; because they came out AFTER the soundtrack release. For the monsters I’ve added, I have used a mix between GarageBand, the “SoundFonts” addon, and my voice. I hope this has answered your question. If there’s anything else you need to know, don’t hesitate to ask.
Cave island could definitely use more verses. Half the song sounds way too full and you can’t even hear most of them over yelmut so it’s nice to hear them more clearly in new segments.
We don’t even know if seasonals are going on outer islands and if they do punkleton is most likely to go to cave (atleast what I think) and even if they just stay on the continent this is just some fun speculation
