Billy I understand you pain I share it, I came out at 16 in 1982 Lost a number of very good friends along the way. Miss you Willie, Sherly, Larry, Leo and so many others. You never forget that call that tells you you need to get tested, waited two weeks for my results, cried like a baby when it came back neg! LOVE LOVE LOVE the show!

The show is SO real. The fact that I can see so much of Pray Tell in Billy when he’s just being himself really proves that. This show is raw and genuine storytelling. Pose is such a gift.

Yes...from one who has not shared in those experiences and never can or will this show gives me a glimpse into the lives and struggles of people who in many ways wanted nothing more than to belong and be loved. This show helps me to better understand that and I gave nothing but empathy. For me, this us why the show is important. (It's a bonus that MJ and Billy are two of my favourite characters)
