- In this video, we will take a look at several different n scale model trains as they pass by a few different scenes. The trains are complemented by the sounds of real trains passing by. You'll see steam trains, passenger trains, freight trains, and more! This is the first model train video I've done in a long time, and I've never done anything quite like this before. Great to see you back with model train videos, especially with N scale trains! The variety of trains you showcased-from steam to passenger to freight-is really impressive. I also loved how you added real train sounds; it makes the scenes even more realistic. I cover model trains on my channel too and really enjoyed this unique approach. Definitely keep making videos like this, I’d love to see more!

Love N scale. Thanks for including a Metra train. I used to live in the Chicago suburbs. I mostly took the L trains, but I did take the Metra . . . as we say in Chicago . . . "a couple two tree times." 2:00 - Yellowbonnet, yay! That very last train was incredibly realistic.

Great video there, I have an Amtrak N scale train set that I set up around the Christmas tree that I run during December. My set has the P42, a heritage baggage car & 7 phase 4 Superliner cars. N scale you can do a lot with in less space. I like the Southern Pacific Daylight steam locomotive number 4449, which is one of my 3 favorite steam locomotives, the others are the AC12 cab forward 4-8-8-2 that pulled many Southern Pacific trains through the Sierra Nevada mountains and also on the Shasta line and the Norfolk & Western’s J Class 4-8-4 number 611.

3:01 That is an old Roundhouse Hobbies set. I've had it for a number of years now.
3:32 The cars are a mix of manufacturers, custom made for lowellsmith.net
4:26 That is from a real Alaska RR RDC. They had very strange sounding ebells that were installed some time in the 1980s or 90s I believe. Some of the first ebells ever made.
