    I was a Christian who was demonized. I was surrounded by lukewarm Christian’s who still sinned. I had demons who tormented me day and night, wanting me to kill myself,drug myself, harm myself and others. I had demons speak through me too. I was in such misery. Till I was so desperate and I read the Word more and read Jesus casting out demons. My husband was skeptical about deliverance till he read the Word himself. He took the leap of faith and prayed for me. 15 minutes it took to kick these demons out of me. After I felt such clarity for the first time, I felt so light, of course I was exhausted, it felt like I was going to die. But I was able to speak my mind and have such silence in my mind. I used to deal with demons tormenting with voices and also muting my own voice. I was so afraid that if I reached out, they would think I was crazy. But I’m so thankful the Lord revealed Derek prince and others who do deliverance in their ministry and also in the Word of God and through my dreams. God is good.

    To me, the idea that a Christian "can't have a demon " is like saying a Christian can't have an affair or an addiction. It doesn't make sense. It's just an unclean spirit, cast it out, and keep it moving.

    • @LaelShiza
      @LaelShiza หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s not the same. Demons cannot live in a house (the body) inhabited by the Holy Spirit. No spirit is stronger than Him. If He resides in you, demons cannot enter. Ofc by this explanation I meant only the possession. Oppression can still happen, wicked spirits can still influence the believers to sin from the outside. Frequent repetance, prayer and worship keep us safe and aligned with God’s Will for us. ❤️🙏 God bless you!

      @@DavidGarrattu realize holy spirit is God himself according to the Bible right? So, when holy spirit being third head of the holy trinity is inside a person then how come a demonic spirit dwell in the same body? Where there is light, darkness flees.

      @Db1999_ หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@DavidGarratt right!! The snake can bite you and leave but the venom will stay in you. Accepting Christ welcomes you into the Kingdom and what its salvation has to offer but DELIVERANCE helps you walk in freedom. That’s why the closer you get to God the more He demands of you. A newly saved Christian will not be expected by God to be fully cleaned out. He has to wait for the heart posture to be in line and get em out as you go. He is patient.

    I want to comment on that part about the Holy Spirit not coming into unclean bodies.
    The individual speaking about this says he found only one reference to this and its in the book of Mormons. And the quote has nothing to do with the Holy Spirit coming into unclean bodies, but instead God's Spirit leaving people who have unclean bodies.
    If you read the New Testament enough times, you'll begin to see that salvation is something you could lose if you don't keep in obedience to God's Holy Spirit. The disobedience--whatever it may be--is enough for God to consider his temple being defiled, and at some point, leave.
    I'm not 100% sure on this, but David's life could be an example of God's Holy Spirit being on someone, and then leaving that person, and then returning to the same person after they have repented.

      Even in the OT Cain was saddened to know that he would be farther away from God. This casting out is symbolic for, when we fall to our transgressions, God gives you up.
      We can visually see this, people who have an indescribable look in their eyes where they are there but they're not there if that makes sense. As though they're living in hell.
      I take the Bible more as symbolic.

    • @saintphoenix6723
      @saintphoenix6723 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@kimbronun6649 Everything in scripture is true. The old testament is to be used as a symbol and a learning. But its best to learn the lesson and story in context, and not make up the lesson you think are being taught.
      God warned Cain, and Cain still went ahead and transgressed. That was the end for Cain. This is rather different than a general person today. Judas Iscariot is someone else likened to Cain. Its like Judas had all these chances in his grace period with Jesus to stop stealing from the money bag. But in the end, he made one decision that was the end for him, no matter what. Just like Cain. For the most part, God forgives you... but with some people there reaches a point where enough is enough, and that's it for them. They will not be saved, its only doom and hell for them.
      Someone with trouble in their eyes is just that... a soul experiencing concerns, or torments. God's Holy Spirit heals this, for his Spirit is peace. This is more than symbolic, its a real fact.

      Bible clearly states you are darkness, and without Jesus Christ--God's Word--which is light, you have no light in you.
      Any kind of "dimming" would suggest you have God's Holy Spirit dwelling inside of you, and you are grieving God's Spirit. In scripture, this would be considered "lukewarm"

    I'm curious about what y'all think about demonic opression vs posession.
    I think I'm basing this more off of having read a book called The Veil and my own experiences with the demonic. Maybe also The Screwtape letters by CS Lewis
    I think that demons can Opress christians and be cast off whereas they can more fully posess non believers....
    But there being carry over makes sense.
    Fascinating that the idea that Demons can't possess christians comes from Mormonism! Yikes!
    I'd love to hear your thoughts

    There is no debate about Paul's thorn. That was a devil that Jesus Christ assigned to Paul because of Paul's boasting problem. That devil was assigned to beat him up every time Paul got out of hand. He spends the entire chapter speaking about boasting. When he preached he'd sometimes boast, and the devil made sure to stir the crowds to beat Paul up. That's Jesus Christ's idea of a good thing for Paul.
    So, while you are out there guerilla warfaring demons from people, it might just be some of those people have a devil assigned to them to keep them in check, and just like Paul, they are crying and grieving hard over it. But just like Jesus Christ said to Paul... something specific to such people who have big issues... "my grace is sufficient".
