I really like this beer. It's very drinkable. We sell it at my store, about 5 cases a week though. but I think its a nice drinkable beer for 99 cents plus tax, for a 24 ounce can.
Old Milwaukee and Old Milwaukee Light are pretty plentiful here in Illinois, but I don't recall ever seeing the OM Ice. Would be nice to get my hand on one though.
Are you positive on your dates for when the Ice Beer Craze started? The reason I ask is for some reason I recall drinking Ice Beer when I was a Junior & Senior in high school which would've been 1989 / 90 time frame?
Maybe it was Molson Ice we were drinking then. We chose the Ice beers because abv% was higher. Now I prefer them taste wise. When did the dry beer craze start. We drank them more frequently in high school as well as early on in college.
I never even heard of this. I only know about Milwaukee's best ice, which is pretty good too. I know this video was 8 yrs back or so, but is red dog still around now?. I thought it was dead and gone too. I havnt Seen a red dog since around 2005 or so...hmm
How healthy do you think ice beer is? What Is your opinion on Ice beer? My opinion is it is a lot harder than your everyday beer. The way it is made, usually ice beer is just cheap beer. After time drinking so much of ice beer can't be very healthy for the body. Most people think of ice beer as low quiltay beer. I would like to hear your thoughts on ice beer.
Excited for all the reviews to come.
Thanks, christian lewis. I appreciate it!
OMG, I miss those ice beers.
Yes, I've always been partial towards ice beers. Thanks for watching, Sig Shooter!
Never seen this and never tired it. I bet it is good.
+Sophia B. Williams The bad thing is that the distribution for this beer is very limited.
It's always interesting when u come back from a trip. The beer reviews and such I mean.
I agree, BS.

Yeah, this one is very rare.

Tomas A. Molina It's as good, if not better, than all the rest of the mass-produced ice beers, that's for sure.
Ronald Theriot hopefully i'll find it one day!
Tomas A. Molina i can send ya some if ya want. we get it all the time at the store i work at. so i can get it before it hits the cooler.

Jeff Keltto Thanks for watching, Jeff Keltto! To my knowledge, it has never been sold in Louisiana.

I don't know why the distribution of it is so limited.

I know, it's like one of the world's rarest beers.
The only place I see it in Chicago jewel food store
samuel rivera Well, at least they have it.
We get this one all over Northeast Ohio🍺
That's good to hear, OOKYDOOK! And, thanks for watching. I appreciate it!
I’ve never seen this beer in person. Awesome review as always Jay. Cheers
It's a good one to find, Jojo, but it seems to be fading away from our market. Cheers, back to you!
Interesting video, and I like the can graphic. I've never seen any Old Milwaukee beers, this one looks most interesting to me.
It seems like the whole Old Milwaukee line is fading away.
this is quite a legendary beer?
I think it is more of an unknown beer.
Ronald Theriot it's the bigfoot of beer! lol!
Are you positive on your dates for when the Ice Beer Craze started? The reason I ask is for some reason I recall drinking Ice Beer when I was a Junior & Senior in high school which would've been 1989 / 90 time frame?
Yes, because the first-ever American ice beer was Icehouse in 1993. But, Molson Ice came out in 1989, and that sort of started the ball rolling.
Maybe it was Molson Ice we were drinking then. We chose the Ice beers because abv% was higher. Now I prefer them taste wise. When did the dry beer craze start. We drank them more frequently in high school as well as early on in college.
I know the dry beer craze started right about 1989, but that died away in the mid-1990s.
I never even heard of this. I only know about Milwaukee's best ice, which is pretty good too. I know this video was 8 yrs back or so, but is red dog still around now?. I thought it was dead and gone too. I havnt Seen a red dog since around 2005 or so...hmm
Yes, Red Dog is gone, but Old Milwaukee Ice IS still around. Most people can't find it, and it's surely never been sold, in Louisiana.
@@ronaldtheriot never seen it here either.. I use to buy the red dog 32 oz for 99 cents at my local corner store...the good ol days...

+Sophia B. Williams No, I don't see why it would be more unhealthy that other beers. The companies just sell it at the value-priced level.
Is this still made?
Yes, I believe so, but try finding it.
