Nice early spring adventure. It's always a gamble walking on wet ice but when you need to walk down hill that's when sliding and falling become a risk. Glad you returned to this area I was curious about those bridges being washed away. Perhaps the trees with regain their health and you will see new growth this season. those bridges are definitely way more professionally built than the "fallout" style one near the spring under the Cross hill. that is being damaged and washed away pretty regularly, though it has much lower height above the water than these... also, to be honest, i've never been to this exact place at the very moment before, i usually visited it either in winter or summer only. so what i've seen there was a no less surprise for me too. happy Easter to you too!
