These puzzles suddenly made me recall one of the mysteries in a Japanese detective comic series titled "Case Files of Young Kindaichi" where the characters discover six mummified corpses who were victims of a house fire, all of them mysteriously are missing some body parts. The protagonist later solves the mystery and reveals that the corpses were actually deliberately dismembered and rearranged from five victims to make it looked like there were six corpses altogether, when in fact the sixth victim actually survived the house fire.
Due to the number of times Tim gently counts upwards for us in this episode, this video has quickly become a favorite sleep aid of mine. I just imagine he's counting sheep for me and I'm out like a light.
I think it's the amount of joy he has for the puzzles. "Oh look now there is more spaceships, isn't that wonderful" Well... I guess I can't argue with that. It's beautiful ❤️
The split chocolate puzzle that gets you an extra square of chocolate uses the same principle as well. I also heard about people that were pizza deliverers that would cut pizzas before delivering them, in such a way that they would get free pizza pieces without the buyer knowing it
Daily, lower quality, short videos vs rarer, HQ, longer videos. Tough choice, but i think i prefer this. But damn, going from 6 to 8 cigars is crazy O_O
12:26 That looks like it could be a plot device in a horror film. Eight children go out, only seven come back. The returning children are eerily different, somehow. Cue the paranormal investigator/desperate parents fighting against a malicious supernatural entity and at least one set of parents who want to keep the new status quo.
Tim, you are amazing and never cease to give us amazing things to see and enjoy. Im so glad to see the studio again. Thank you for this great illusion and good day
That's one of the oldest tricks around. The moment I saw it I realised what it was. But I always get surprised by how long it takes for people to notice how it works when I show them. The best type of trick, simple and effective (and you can leave people trying to guess how it works).
The 74 dislike must be miserable people because these videos are awesome. Cool toys, gadgets, gig items, and plus you learn and see something you never knew existed , how could you not like it.
I have to admit I kind of miss the daily videos. Sometimes I would start my day with them others I would wait to end my day with them. I felt like I had a small visit with my favorite uncle every day . I am happy to have this nice long video though.
Remember that time this sweet old man who collects interesting toys and puzzles brought out a buttplug and was completely oblivious because he's literally the sweetest human being.
In the states I have never seen one of these, but we used to have alot of folding ones - multiple flodings in at multiple places revealing different pictures, as I remember from childhood, and it was like the Mad magazine fold-in back page in every magazine, but a bit more multi faceted with different stories with the changing image. Good stuff.
Now that's an idea for a greeting card The one with the ships makes it the most obvious imo how the trick works, the horse one is always a classic but the sculpted ashtray is amazing! Having it in 3D makes it even more perplexing.
I think this is the only type of puzzle I actually hate. In every incarnation I hate it. At its best it goes from a series of things to a series of mangled things and more usually it just goes from one set of mangled, incomplete abominations to another to another.
