Hi mate theres an island on that lake, try get up close to that , also they like a nice bed of bait there , so keep the bait trickling in on your chosen spots , on a ronnie rig!! No worrys mate! That's what it's all about , yeh I enjoyed are chat, always nice to meet poeple on the bank , yeh I personally think the deeper chirp is a must!! Only used mine twice and already giving me a edge , and its those little edges that catch fish , tight lines buddy hope your son bags a pb this year!!🎣
Fished there 2 weeks back even set rods on the very swim you where in but moved as the place got rammed. Went over to the top side of the pool where was quiter did a 24hr session and took a common 14lb 4oz and a mirror 17lb9oz all in the margins. Hope the rats did not give you a runaround. Keep upthe good vids interesting viewing.
