Oh Marc, you have the most lovely family ever. Sean and your mother just seem so sweet, and I'm so glad Mahuka was your #1000. This was the vlog I was waiting for after Thorpe Park, and it did not disappoint!
Big Dipper (III) not only was the prototype, but had a lot of restrictions placed on it because of the issues with the last Big Dipper (an Arrow that was relocated to Dreamworld) where Walibi Rhone-Alpes had room to grow. They demolished their water park for Exotic Island (Like in 2021 the site said Aqualibi was "Closed for Sure" or something on those lines when translated-I had originally planned to study abroad in 2021 so I had planned to visit this park for awhile)

Every time I watch a pov of Mahuka it gets better and better. I soo want to ride it that layout is absolutely flawless. Congrats on 1000! That is actually kind of insane. My last milestone was 100 with the Voyage. Outstanding ride that thing. I need a night ride.
Actually its even funnier since both Walibi and Parc Asterix are owned by the same company. Its an Easter Egg even if the French just associate it as part of their popular zeitgeist and not the Compagnie Des Alpes (CDA) chain. Most of their entries on RCDb are in France (only Walibi Belgium, Walibi Holland, and Familypark in Austria are the exceptions. They mostly own ski resorts, but they own a museum or something in Montreal as well)
Right on point just forgot one park in Belgium Bellewaerde in Ypres is also from companies des Alpes. I knew they had al the others and also the ski resorts but to be sure of what I say I looked it up and was surprised that the also own the musée Grévin in Paris France and Montréal Canada (wax statue museums). I love this little Easter egg in the station of this coaster Walibi should do things like this more over all their parks. Would be fun for enthousiasts that travel to do them all.
@@jotimmermans8349 Bellewarde is weird. Part zoo, has dueling mountain coasters that are trimmed to death and the station is basically suspended in midair. Also with the old Beaver mascot from when the park was originally known as Avenir Land in another CDA would be cool (seriously, the April Fools merch was on point, I would’ve bought stuff online if I could-I would pay whatever to ship it except going there myself for it)
Congrats again man, 1000 is like the big achievement in the community that most people (myself included) are aiming for. You definitely choose a good one, Mahuka looks awesome! I still need about 250 but I’m also getting there slowly👀
Mahuka looks such a fun coaster and like you said a bit of a family trill that focused a bit more on the trill part. Would love to do it one day. I think the rmc single rails in Walibi Holland are going to be great rides but I would prefer that Walibi Belgium (my home park) would get one like Mahuka in the future. First finishing their new Gerstlauer family launch one now, than RMC their woody and than get one of these. Or, put one in the other park from them in Belgium, Bellewaerde. The rumour is that Bellewaerde is getting a Vekoma STC probably with the family boomerang combo (rumour nothing confirmed). If you at this Intamin single rail to that it would be putting Bellewaerde really on the map for them and wouldn’t outclass Walibi Belgium I think so. Thanks for the vlog, was also great to see you go on your 1000th coaster with the family, congratulations.
I think it's more likely that Walibi Belgium gets an Intamin Hot Racer than an RMC Raptor, it's much cheaper to get the coaster from a european manufacturer than shipping from the US. Holland probably got the raptor because they've already worked with RMC before for Untamed.
I was supposed to be there the day you went but this was reported to 2 days ago, still I like this park a lot and Mahuka, while not being my 1000th is still a fantastic nowelty and cracked my top 10

Big achievement as someone who has only ridden 60+ coaster what you do makes me so jealous but have you considered going through a coaster trip with meet ups for the fans like my home park is carowinds and I would love to talk to you about coasters.
Why has Big Dipper at Luna Park gotten this reputation for being a rough coaster? I’ve ridden it around 6/7 times and while there’s a bit of a shift and rattle towards the back on one of the loops… it’s fine to me? Not uncomfortable at all. Crazy how things get reputations so quickly in the coaster community these days!
For as long as you’ve been doing this, that is a big accomplishment and it’s special your mom and Sean got to share that experience👏🏻🎢 Especially since he was having a rough time healthwise. Definitely looks like a unique coaster and should be exciting when you get to ride Big Dipper🇦🇺 Now I’m just inspired to eventually reach 100 credits whenever possible😄😂
