READ ME: During the research phase for a new exhaust it was hard to distinguish the tone that each brand had to offer with the current videos on TH-cam. I finally decided on the Termi system as it came with the Upmap and air filter and of course maintains the factory warranty.
I decided to film this quick video to help others distinguish the tone. It's much deeper than stock and even has some blue flame backfires if you roll off the gas just right (couldn't capture on video)
To fully experience the depth of the sound you need to watch this video with a high quality set of headphones. Your laptop speakers just won't do it justice. You'll need some Beats by Dre headphones at a minimum to help replicate the bass levels.
I did some idle shots, revs to 5-6K, and of course some riding so you can hear the system under load.
The sound is great and the fueling has been improved GREATLY by the upgraded mapping. The bike runs smoother and has more power midrange. There aren't any dead spots in the RPM band!

Real shit, Mic doesn't do it's justice towards ducatis, several 1299s Have passed by towards me that day and it was like a marching Radial engine plane, and you could feel the noise at your chest, it was amazing.
Interesting ... Many people who comments do not understand that it is a two-cylinder engine or that there are different engines than the Japanese 4 cylinders

Sounds like shit to be honest. Worse than my wife’s CBR500 lmao. Leave it up to the Italians to need more engine to meet the same performance as other manufacturers.

I love the sound of this bikes. It shakes the earth like a mini earthquake. They sound nothing like in the video. Sure Japanese bikes have a wail sound to them but Ducati’s have their own flair and looks wise nothing comes close

I found it on eBay. Make sure it's the FULL kit with filter and upmap. A lot of sellers are selling JUST the sliopon at $1100 but thats not everything you need for install. Thanks! And I hope you subscribe to FullTuckDUC!

Anything Italian is expensive. I've since moved on to Supercars....those exhaust systems make this one look like a deal LMFAO
@@nfareview ohh supercars! Ya that’s my 10 year goal 😂 I’m Italian & have expensive taste, my 959 is my first Ducati, had Kawasaki’ before that, and although I still enjoy the ZX6R, you just feel prestigious riding a Ducati.

Eh, I could have pushed it more but the rear tire was new and only had 20 miles on it. Thats why I didn't come off the seat lol I was trying to scrub them in nice and easy.

It's a slip-on. The 899 Primary tubes have been determined to already be maxed out. Someone on the forums dyno'd the same bike with the stock headers and with the full system. No change in HP... lol. The slip-on kit comes with a UP-Map key that unlocks the termi map from the factory ECU, as well as a sprint air filter and of course the titanium cans. I found mine for $1750 shipped on eBay from a Ducati shop. Dealer charged for 2.5hrs of install time. The bike is wayyyyyy smoother and faster mid range. Love it.

No problem man. Also you can tell the dealer installed the Up-Map when you start the bike. You will see "RACE" in the bottom left of the screen when the screen does it's full sweep.

I'm stuck between this 899 or a daytona 675r as my bike upgrade choice... i would use it mostly for street and fun riding on weekends and nice weather, not my primary vehicle. Also like the idea of taking it to the track sometime. Alot of people are saying the 899 would be better for street riding because of the daytona's riding position but I love everything about the Daytona (except for the looks which the 899 wins in that department). Also not a huge fan of the 899 sound compared to the daytona, is this ducati just a much better choice than the daytona? Would I get the daytona and regret my purchase because of how uncomfortable it is? Could anyone comment on what would be a better choice?

Either that mic is not very good or TH-cam compresses and strips the original sound file so badly it sounds like a lawnmower blowing through a stack of feather pillows.
Honestly, videos give barely any sense of this sound. I finally rode one recently, and wow, the sound is UNREAL.
I've ridden an MT-09 with Yoshimura pipe (db-killer out) and that was pretty wild.
