STI wings on WRX are nice I have an STI myself and I love seeing the Wings no matter which models it on! As long as you don't de badge then put STI badge on an WRX :D

Your car is like a canvas, paint it into a masterpiece of which your heart desires, there's always going to be hate/negative feedback/comments anyways. Ultimately it all boils down to if YOU like it or not. Clean Subie and GodSpeed on your journey.

There’ll always be hate for this mod. WRX owners wanting STI wing? Everyone talks shit. STI wing owners wanting to go wingless? No one bats an eye.
This is very true I’m not a personal fan of the wing myself, but it also not the worst thing I’ve seen, at least it’s not one of those “Universal GT Wings” 😂
I have an STI wing on 19 wrx and I get mad lovee I love the look
The wing is iconic on the wrx even if it's not on sti. It's 100% part of the car body
I've seen some videos of people uninstalling their stock STI wings and they have 6 total holes on each side to mount the wing. The main holes that screws go through line up with the access holes in trunk.This probably would have helped a lot with lining up the wing for drilling the holes.
Edit: I noticed the top access holes near the trunk hinge may not exist on WRX trunks so that may pose as an issue with my suggestion.
Noticed that too but was kinda hard to see how many holes they drilled in this video. Didn't look like they did the +3 holes per side for the clips though.
I know this is an old video. But curious why you decided to scrap the middle screw? I have an OEM STI wing that has 3 bolts on each side that I need to install.
Looks good man. Just out of curiosity, what was the reason for removing the stock lip spoiler for the install? Since you just put it back on I don't see the point. I'm looking to add a carbon fiber wing to my '20 Limited.
My buddy was actually swapping out the the stock spoiler with an aftermarket carbon fiber one, the dark grey and carbon fiber kind of blend in together
I put a sti wing on my Alfa 156 and it was a perfect fit. They are the most aggressive spoiler/ wings on any car
What bolts did you end up getting I currently have a apr carbon fiber wing on my car and will be swapping to a sti wing. Any recommendations on what to buy.

If you had to go back, would you buy this car again? I'm thinking about trading my 2018 Accord Sport 1.5 T to a new WRX but i read mix reviews about it as far for the reliability. i wanted to get your honest opinion.
Depends on what you’re looking for, It’s a reliable car depending how hard you beat on it. I don’t really beat on my car too hard and I keep adding parts slowly and it’s been great for 40k miles modified. A wrx is cool and will get you noticed but there’s a lot of toxic people in the community. If I bought my wrx back then I would probably switch up what mods I bought first. It’s also really expensive to make a lot of power. For the 26-28k price point there are just better cars out there. But for me I would personally buy my car again for the sole fact that I live where it snows a lot and just need the AWD. Anything that broke from the car was my own fault
@@okaycalvin3512 Thanks for the info. I'm debating to upgrade into a Accord 2.0 Turbo or WRX. It seems like the Accord 2.0 is a little bit more quicker than the WRX. What do you mean there's a lot of toxic people in the community? As in the Subie community?
I work for subaru about reliability it depends on work you do on it modes and stuff if you drive the car as is you are golden but if you do engine work like big turbo you are most likely changing stuff that stock motor can't handle in the feature i know subis nown for head gasket problems not these new ones older ones yes. I would say buy it add invidia pipes lol call it a day it is already halfway decent when it comes to speed . They Are Grate Cars.
@@onuryaman6463 I plan to keep my car stock. Done with the mod life. I have always own honda/acura all my life so moving to another brand is hard.
@@bj10jgo The Accord 2.0 Turbo sport makes 250 HP whereas the WRX makes 270HP, paired with AWD you'll have a better launch and handling imo. To each their own. You can easily push a WRX to 340ish HP on a good tune and parts accordingly.
What did you do about the clips?? That's the issue I'm running into.
what was the final measurements you got for the spoiler as far as placement goes
The sti spoiler comes in pieces, so you could of just unbolted the piece which bolts on to the car and taken that inside to the hardware instead of taking a whole spoiler in
What was the stud size? I heard 6 by something. Gotta find bolts for mine. Got the oem sti wing no hardware
