I think the b2 nerf is because of the whole "identity" thing. They have taxed CH launchers a LOT...but his b1 is the same. So maybe that was the trade off. Limit his launch capabilities even more but keep his b1 in a meta where everyone else has had theirs nerfed/removed

I don’t see anything wrong with Steve, his character model looks good, voice sounds good, combos look like a nightmare for people to deal with as always, I’m sold, i can’t speak for everyone but I feel like people are just going out of the way to find things to nitpick about

Which sucks cus back when he was introduced in T4 I didn’t really like him, but his awesome look and personality changes they made in T5 made him become one of my fav characters. Oh well at least his moves look cool and I think his style will fit right into T8. CH b1 is also still there, but with the changes to magic 4 and 13f ch launchers being removed, I wouldn’t be surprised if they changed it to a 14f move. Can’t really tell from the trailer

Steve’s voice lines are a result of British cultural appropriation by Japanese. This is exactly what Japanese feel when they have a Japanese character written and directed by non-Japanese. I believe exactly the same happens to Shaheen, Claudio, and Leo. I think the reason why Nina and Anna avoided I this fate is the talent of the actor - maybe the high profile of the VA meant she could have a day in the directing process. I also noticed that Hwoarang and Feng sound more natural in T8 - is it the same for their native speakers?
