Honestly, Heimana played a gentleman's game. He could have taken out Winkowski much earlier by doing tricks that Winky couldn't do with his type of board. Instead he delayed it a bit to make it more entertaining, and almost ended up losing. Either way, killer game and great series. I look forward to these! @Woodward - can we get a monthly Mano A Mano instead of just yearly? :)
Good clean game. Winkowski didn't abuse the inverts too much but it was kinda funny to see him hang up on the Ho-Ho that would have finished the game. Heimana also only did one trick that's basically impossible on an old-school shape but it was a smart finisher to avoid losing to that stupid ass handstand trick.
@@marcusrosales3344 Didn't. Heimana has most of the inverts anyway it seems. And Winkowski did the feeble shove fakie and indie fastplant blunt instead of some other inverts he could have done. No one is doing that stupid hoho shit though...
Hohos are cool but in a game it’s kind of weird. But if you only do one it’s fair. Winkowski played such a good game on defense but I still wanted heimana to win because he has such good style lol. It was cool seeing a game where Heimana couldn’t hand plant to win too. Eric got so many tricks that should’ve been letters which is always awesome to see
Yeah this felt like the cleanest one we’ve seen. Winkowski leans more on the inverts, and Heimana has a much more well-rounded bag of tricks so I wanted to see Heimana win. Can’t say I wasn’t happy to see the fall on the hoho, but on a final trick all is fair in my opinion. Gotta get the W.
love that too. lemme ask yall a question tho. i dont skate i only watch, so this take might be a "casual" take but is it wrong to say.... ppl who mostly do handplant tricks with very little variety in these comps, kinda boring to watch? Erick and another guy earlier in this comp just kept bangin out hand plant tricks and im just like "we get it bro, lets do something else now". Like i said, this could be a bad take but idk i just kinda get bored of seein it so many times in. In my defense i also hate watching ppl who just do an invert trick or whatever it might be over and over when their opponent is bad at a certain trick (dont get me wrong i get theyre trying to win, but in an enjoyment aspect, seeing the exact same layout of a trick gets boring to me. @@chrislobo7945 a lot of people were commenting similar opinions the year erick winkowski handplanted his way to the finals, so i think a lot of people will agree! i personally disagree as a fan of handplants/inverts haha they are a bit more rare these days and while some varieties are looking very similar, for those who know the differences the tricks are very different. This comment is so underrated, winkowski shredded winning in 2018 with eeez, i was so freak happy when Heimana won, i love watching him skate,, it would be dope to see him and jake face off this year,
Heimana style is so clean! He's also very handsome, he should maybe start a skateboarding boysband to attract more females into skateboarding. Haha. Joke aside, well done!
no disrespect, but glad about this outcome. i much prefer watching skateboarding with no hands down. it's cool that heimana has both but i hope the finals is more tech
Back in the day on vert a varial was a shuv with your hand … then once street tricks kicked off varial came to mean a shuv with a flip as in varial flip / varial heel
dont hate on hohos yall... lol wink is so sick and they were both trying tricks at the end that ethier couldnt do so it was a fair game, love heimana too but i keep seeing comments on the hoho, yall need more hype for 80's skating!

For sure, but Winky did some tricks thats not invert as well to not play dirty all the time, but in the final letter both played dirty for the win LOL
Ya Heimana even lobbed Erick some softballs and still pulled it off. Classy.
@@Nmzc Haha, yep!
why what should he have done?
Really diggin Heimana's style! He's like a young Christian Hosoi on this ramp!
the flyin' Hawaiian!
He absolutely destroys bowls.
Both these guys are so good; they make it fun to watch them skate.

this game was filled with excitement, what a treat
Winkoski has a deep squat like hes a tribal elder from the amazon. Plus hes got the best invert tricks
Heimana has such dope style… All his tricks look so casual and effortless! It’s gonna be a fun final 🤙
Judges really blowing it on some of those defense calls Andrecht fakie and cab d were both kinda ridiculous imo
Judging is hard, you'll never please everyone.

Maybe my favorite game in the history of Mano a Mano
This was my favorite game so far! Every time either of them made a trick it brought a smile to my face.
love erick not warming up on heimanas board at all before the second noseblunt revert attempt lol
Amazing game of skate
That last invert for Winky was for the win. Can’t believe he missed it
fr reynolds lucked out on that one but i kinda feel if anyone in this contest could do that invert it'd be heimana

I was soooo happy! Heimanna gave him way to much room to be boring and just do his handplants🥳
I would've hate to see him win like that tbh
The unnamed trick is called a Bone up.

So rad. Could watch these dudes skate for hours.
The very first issue of transworld I had there was a trick tip called a Bone-Up, Which was a front side boneless to nose pick...
Wow awesome match, suspenseful !!!
The sound of the f/s kicky grab was delightful.. Di Pa Boom!!!...................
Serious defence on Heimana, very Wooteny style moves for him this round, degending against Winkowski does look absolutely terrifying 😅
Heimana did an excelled job. Well deserved
That was a good game. Glad that they both played respectfully to each others bag of tricks
Yep thats what Erick did as he always does🤦🏻
mike being the judge was such a shout!!!! well done
i love this event!
Heimana deu aula de como jogar um game, se divertiu, respeitou o adversário e suas trick e não simplesmente matou o game pra ganhar a competição
proper!!!!...mahalo heimana...
That was an awesome round
This was my fave game of this season
Kinda weird that inverts missing the coping seem to count on offence. Unless I’m missing something.
Props to Heimana for choosing tricks he knows Erick might land.
Great game!
What a game
Kick Indy vert was insane!! 🔥🔥
amazing game
These two were slugging it out! Nice round.
The inverts get played out after a while I’m glad he’s out
Whoever the main judge is the big dude… absolutely can’t stand that guy!
Love the Heimana technique, drop in and redo before the judges decide..... Well.... Like...... yeah......
Heimana to win, Vs Yanko, and a team of ninjas, spice things up
Who’s the meatball being picky w the tricks
Nice
Reynolds played it way too nice with his first “on the ropes trick.” As soon as Eric went for that handstand trick he was like forget that 😂
"E-k-a to E-k-a-k" hold up... what did he say? 6:26
It was a “Bone Up”. Bill Danforth.
Heimana style is so clean! He's also very handsome, he should maybe start a skateboarding boysband to attract more females into skateboarding. Haha.

Heimana, Curren Caples, Austyn Gillette, um... and two more, I dunno :P

so.. im guessing this all happened after heimanas epic new vlog with manny and sheckler.
@2:54 is that a early grab varial? I didnt ever see the board flip. Looked more like an early grab 360 shuv or something.

Feeble shove to fakie doesn’t seem scary until you actually try one

Winkowski bunted the nail. Coulda had the glory.
Winowski vs anderson woulda been a good one
Mike needs to chuck
this ref sucks, how is 2 hands down at the same time allowed?
The switch to the close ups is annoying. Hard to see the height with that close shot.
Wish they would quit changing the camera angle right before the trick, show it from the same angle and then a close up after for anything super good.
Shout Sinclair he nose when a man needs a knows
04:07 really? too many hands on the ramp, c'mon.
They had just let Reynolds by with a half assed Andrect to fakie, so fair enough.
i think i got 3 of the final 4 right
That rly pissed me off
Why would you bring a fishtail board to this comp? That automatically makes it harder to half of the tricks
Sinclair seems over it 😂
