- For the purpose of cleaning both household carpet and the car, especially the delorean, I was in the market for a new cleaner. I didn't want one of those thin plastic ones that will break in a year, and I came across this one by chance. Its a shop vac / carpet shampoo machine hybrid. Its only on Amazon, not even on the company website so I took a risk, therefore I decided to do a review video.
After unboxing, assembly was no issue at all.
I address a few shortcomings that I found. None were deal breakers, but I had neglected to mention that the clasps that hold the cover shut aren't very tight, so care should be taken when lifting the unit.
With the car further experiments were done in conjunction with a tornador in another video.

You should use a drill brush with spray cleaner first, then fill the tank with just distilled water to rinse the cleaner solution out of the carpet. It will be less passes trying to clean the dirt.

I detail for myself full time. I use this for normal vacuuming as well as extraction in combo with a drill brush. I’ve left people speechless and the price to performance is honestly the best I’ve found.

Descent review, as a detailer I use a pump sprayer with cleaner. Agitate the carpet with a drill brush.
Your floorboard will need that to get most of that orange up.
Get it to wet the orange will surface back up through wicking.
For the vehicle just have hot water in the reservoir to flood/dilute the cleaner. May help you out next time.

I’d never considered using it for a dry application. That’s why the bag wasn’t used. Thought I see the value in it. I wouldn’t convert it back and forth.

The spraying function doesn’t work on mine anymore after not using it for about a year. Any fix? I hear it start up for a second and then give up when soraying

Great video. Tbh I wish I’d seen it to bolster my confidence before buying. I saw an equal amount of positive and negative reviews for machines on amazon, and basically hesitated to pull the trigger on any carpet cleaning machine despite really needing one Asap (My sister’s car is in my care and a leak in the sun roof caused it to become an indoor pool 🤭 😬 oops) Also considering I’m really on a budget here, I couldn’t afford to mess up and have to buy something else. It just arrived last night and I wanted to watch a video on assembly, and welp here I am. Thanks for such a useful and well made video ✌️

no way does mine spray out detergent as well as shown here Mine just dribbles out it is heavy and difficult to move around when vacuuming the attachments come loose and fall off so i have to use energy to hold the pieces together as I'm vacuuming it has good suction but having two sets of on off switches is confusing i am not happy with this i will put it in the garage so the MEN can handle this beast

Hi. I have used mine for 15 minutes (in both modes) and upper part got hot. Not extremely warm but slightly (like human temperature). After some minutes it turned to normal temperature. Is that okey ?
By upper part I mean the pace that has “switch on/off” place. Also is there any limit of how much time can I use at once ? I am asking that as going to use in car wash business hence will use it intensively
Hello, nice informative video. I didn't see any mention in the vid or comments of anyone trying to use hot/boiling water for an actual steam cleaning. Is the tank and/or system up to that task you think? I'd be interested in it for sure if it was, because all the rental units I've used requires you to add your own source of hot water, which I just continually keep a pot of boiling water on stove as the cleaner is working
Its not a steam cleaner. Warm or even hot water may be used but take care for possible carpet warpage.
No doubt. Its for automotive carpet so it'll be fine. I was curious if the vacmaster's reservoir can handle the boiling water I pour in it like many of the rental carpet extractors I've used in the past
I have the 8 gallon machine. It is a great extractor but there is a huge problem with it. I use it for my mobile detailing business. The handle is just waaaaay too big to get into those tight spaces. Trying to figure something out with it but so far, still same conclusion. It is a good machine tho.
I wouldnt say this is a commercial grade machine through...

I know this is old video. Im a detailer trick is use a drill gun an brush tip and hose it down really good and then suk it up

Thanks for the Video review. Very good. I have a quick question. Supposing that I want to wet clean an entire room floor, does this work? Say a room with marble/stone floor. Can I clean the entire floor the way you cleaned the carpet (by spraying solution and using the suction in wet mode)? Can it operate continuously in that mode for say 30-45 mins?
Yes it does, easily.
My little Bissell floor cleaner works better and is easier to handle than this giant plus the water dribbles out not spray like you see in this video. I am very disappointed in my purchase. I have to say the suction is great, that is about all

I have added hot tap water without ill effects..
Considering this for auto detail with it being way cheaper than a nice mytee.

@@retrotechandelectronics it's one of the more high end known heated extractors but they are usually $1000+ new. Out of my budget.

This would be better than the mytee because of suction alone. Since vacmaster is a vacuum company, that created an extractor for the first time, the suction is more powerful than any extractor.
That it worked on the headliner on the delorean without I’ll effect made it worth it.
I’m curious if you could apply an aftermarket carpet claw.
It’s friction fit so it’s possible. The fluid line would probably require an adapter

I use it often, though I do not use it as a regular vacuum, I have a dyson for that.
Can we use our own cleaning solutions bought at any store or I have to specificly use the cleaning solutions provided by vacmaster?
I use quality store bought solution.

How hot can you run water threw it?
Wonder, why you need that extra spraying system? You can use it separately.
It sprays directly where it vacuums as is the design of such systems.
@@retrotechandelectronics , that is obvious 😁. Just wondering why spraying is included. To make a product more expensive. A good vacuum with a proper suction mouth is should be sufficient. Spraying could be separate applied, right?

Parts inside swap out for a conventional bag. They came with the unit.

The solution pump is a joke on this machine. But for this price i guess we can't ask for more...
