Thanks, Cap! I was having issues diagnosing a cylinder rotation issue, and it turns out that small, springed slide piece was the key. Rotates like a champ!
So glad you can remove the trigger lock. Used this vid to take apart and fix a broken Cycloneshock. Turns out the "key" to unlock the trigger lock, is just... gone. Though it had clearly been taken apart before, so someone probably lost it. But its works just fine now. Cheers.
Thanks so much for posting this! I'm super new to the hobby and managed to find a used Cycloneshock for £3 (just over $4 US) via a charity Facebook auction, so having a detailed resource document like this is really helpful.
The number of locks in this blaster is baffling! But necessarily baffling, for the most part. Thanks Captain. I know I've wrecked one Cycloneshock (upgraded spring shattered the front part of the plunger rod), but I think there's another in the pile 'o stuff.
My Cycloneshock is catching half way through the prime, so I have to put extra pressure to get it to work, which makes me nervous. I didn't see anything structural, but I'll try disassembling it again to see if lubrication helps. Thanks for the video!
I just had the best idea for a nerf game if your familiar with splatoon rainmaker it’s kinda like that the point of the game you’re are supposed to get the rainmaker to the other teams base but use the rainmaker but use a titan instead and you all can have your gear you have for a nerf battle but once you pick up the titan you must lose your primary and only use the titan if you get shot you put the titan to either the main place or have some point of check point when you cross it you place it on that one then at the end you must have a pedestal or some form of play form and if you get it there you Win the round I feel like that would be super fun
My first blaster.. with a beefy spring the plunger rod T broke on mine. Replacing it was cheap and easy.. shoots like a cannon now. Best shield buster going and so much fun.
I made a BFP mod with this blaster and it's great, even just with doubled up gray trigger springs. I'm just not sure what to do with the internals from the second one though.
I have a problem when putting it together where the plunger rod goes further than the slide can move making it so the barrel moves but when I pull the trigger nothing happens
Well, you've clearly put it together wrong...so take it apart and put it back together correctly? ;) I'm not sure what would cause the issue you are having.

Hi Xavier, I tried to fix my Nerf Mega Cycloneshock and I putted it all back together, but I can’t cock the gun because I tried to control the slide and it didn’t work and it wouldn’t shoot. Do you think I can send you my Nerf Gun for you to fix it?
No. It would cost more to ship it to me and then for me to ship it back then it would cost to just buy a new one. That is why I started doing these videos. So people could fix their blasters themselves.

Did it work? Mine is having the same issue, I need to prime extra hard every few shots

I broke my slide after double springing it and making it a Masterkey. Guess it didn't like that 😕. It's on the list of repairs...

I upgraded the spring in mine and barreled it down for elites. It hits really hard now and firing 2 short darts per shot is great.
