I dont know. I think many people use the scrapper wrong. Maybe I am wrong. Never merge other unit with your scrapper when you have full board of tier 1 & 2 units. Just merge the priest and both scrapper(leave at least one tier 1) and even both tier 1 inquisitor until you get most of your units at tier3(It is ok to have a few tier2). Then you can start to use that tier1 scrapper to merge other tier1 units. Example: you merge three tier1 units with your tier1 scrapper to randomly level up a tier2 inquisitor to tier 3. This mean you totally gain two tier1 units value on that inquisitor but you lose three tier1. It is a lost. If you have almost full board of tier 3 units, you have a much better chance to level up a tier3 unit to tier4. This mean you gain four tier1 unit value by only merging three tier1 units. In ideal theory, it is best to setup your board with only 2 knights and 4 inquisitors in tier2 and maybe 3 without too much other unnecessary units. Then you can start doing the tier1 scrapper merge. So the random lvl up thing will always hit those knights and inquis. Get full board of tier 1 before warlock and gorgon though and quickly adjust with that scrapper. Of course this may not easy in practice. Sorry my bad english but i think you get my meaning.

Saved for that box completely f2p and opened it right after update (sadly before i got the "get scrapper" quest, lol) And actually i prefer it would be ink because i don't have good cards to use with scrapper XD So it's not so impossible to get.
