In this episode, we follow the crew of the ex-BFI rear loader as the collect a very heavy route on the east side of town. Without the Tink Claw, the crew is required to manually load the entire route into the truck. This episode is just like the classic garbage men from yester-year and you don't want to miss this video!
The Crushers is a new series by California Refuse Trucks that follows a Bulky Waste crew and garbage trucks as it collects stops throughout the city. New episodes of The Crushers premieres every Saturday morning at 5 am PST.

If only people would give old trucks a second chance!
Sadly, California emission standards tend to force these trucks off the road or out of state despite them being in rather good condition.

you can surely tell that these guys are working on hourly paid job :D We have it here also, trash truck drivers get here something like 15€ per hour, but also as a bonus they do get a price per bin and price per lifted trash from ground. This kind of job could not be possible in a modern country.
And BTW, it is normal, that truck drivers and that other guy collects the tras manually, as it goes faster. Here we are just a single person with our own trucks, and we are doing the same job by one man, and faster then you.
