      Debt pulls demand and consumption forward so it requires more and more debt or else you eventually get to the "forward" part and it becomes "the present"... Without new debt there is no money to consume because you still have to pay for your past consumption that was originally paid with debt.

    Jaspreet, the 10-year bond yield passed the 3-month bond yield today, and looks like it might stay that way because of the expected Fed rate cut next week. Every time the 10-year yield passed the 3-month yield, a recession occurred about 4-5 months after. I'm not trying to be alarmist or anything, but I'd just like to hear your thoughts on it.

    Basically America will always run on debt at the consumer level from here until the end of this country. Also if anyone feels they are poorer now than 4 years ago the fed will never allow deflation because money and will only continue to devalue the dollar to make room for more debt. American economy is just an idea not backed by equivalent tangible value. Staying debt free does not seem to be sound advice anymore in this game.

    The debt being held by companies and more importantly the consumer, it’s unsustainable. People are taking on more debt to finance their Gucci Poor lifestyle and this can’t continue. The system needs to cleanse itself of the bad players and restructure. Many people can’t afford their homes along with insurance, and property taxes. Then you have inflation which will continue to go higher as the Fed didn’t want to fight inflation as they’re now doing another interest rate cut next week. This bubble is getting so big and out of control.

    I would like to see some deflation. The value of housing is astronomical. If the value comes down the taxes should. The cost of food is way too much. That too should come down. Inflation is like a runaway train. If our government does more printing of money we are going to see hyperinflation. We will be in a depression.

    Im new to investing and my take way from your video is a crash is around the corner and be prepared, I get that.
    I also believe everything you have mentioned, but this is similar to what I have been hearing for the last 2 years, had i took this information at face value 2 years ago I wouldn't be up 20 plus percent on my portfolio.
    It's been mentioned, understand your level of risk, but this is something that is very hard to pinpoint, as there's always a moving point of risk.
    Invest but be prepared, this is something that is a even pairing sometimes, but being over prepared can come at a cost.

    Government wealth re-balancing died with Trump's victory, which means there will be disorder in society. I support my statement with the UHC CEO as my example. The asset bubble will continue to grow with the wealth gap all to eventually crash, and thankfully a lot of it is in crypto.

    • @That.Lady.withtheYarn
      @That.Lady.withtheYarn 2 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      I expected that to. He flatly told people he wanted to help the mega wealthy at the expense of the poor. I know the pay for years were hard, but a lot of that was stemming from his tariffs failure, bank deregulation and mishandling Covid and the stock market crash of 2020. Also price gouging that Kroger admitted to.
      So people fell for the manipulation and voted against themselves. Those same people who voted red will be the first ones crying about the high prices and shortages.
      You might be right about crypto crashing. I figured it was a pump and dump scam when Dt and Elon were pushing it hard. Just like with the stock market crash of 2020, holding off telling us about Covid for 4 months, they’re waiting for the signal to sell en mass and crash it. I think it will land us in a depression

    What type of investing do you recommend for seniors like myself do? I have a small retirement and social security. My expenses are less than my income so i can invest but I’m not sure how. I doubt there is time for me at age 65 to become wealthy but i want to manage what i have wisely. Im thinking high interest saving accounts over stocks but what do you think?

    Ray Dalio's analysis is incomplete (to the best of my knowledge) in that it ignores population changes. We have been living in a time of great population growth, but for many countries a population decline is expected in coming decades. If a country is burdened by debt and has a population collapse, it will be a time for debt forgiveness (bankruptcy), most likely. We'll see.
