That was a prototype construct that Ramos had built in secret. Theres a lot of separate stories in book 1 that all converge during that story, and I try to only give the perspective of the character I'm focused on. So Seamus' video doesn't go into it, but stay tuned for a Ramos video :)

And he's barely been involved in any of the more recent stuff, most of that was all from the first three books.
Well guild, outcast, arcanist, and ressurionist are the oldest factions. I get the feeling Seamus was one of the first characters made.
