I'm traveling to the Philippines soon and I was hoping to get my dual citizenship before then. Did the Philippine Consulate invite you to take the oath or was this through the online appointment? Did you submit the required documents/apply the same day as the oath-taking ceremony? I live in Edmonton and the closest consulate from me is in Calgary but they seem slower. The office in Calgary only accepts mail-in application. I've yet to hear from them how long the entire process would take. I'm leaving at the end of next month so I'm in bit of a rush. Hoping you can provide some info, thanks!
