I like it when TH-cam gives me random videos like this. It reminds me of the good old days on TH-cam. I haven't been on here since the beginning, but I have been here long enough to see it go from primarily being videos made for the fun of it, to what it is today.
Those old oscar Schmidts are indeed beset with the problems you have encountered. But, yet you are doing well, and I immediately recognized Southwind. I encourage you to continue exploring,learning and growing with this instrument. I have found mine to be very rewarding.
Thank you. It is quickly becoming one of my favorite instruments to play. Over the past few weeks since I purchased this instrument (my first autoharp), I am discovering that autoharps are not only beautiful sounding, but incredibly fun to play.
It belonged to my deceased wife. she got it from her great grandmother. At one time it was the only music a small Louisiana Baptist church had. It is in very bad shape and I do not know how to restore it. @@aaronflinner6431
