My man, once we get the Truth Whisperer (suppressed AR-23 Liberator from the files) and dedicated stealth armors, you will be golden for these operations
The recon armor passive already present in the game is already a great stealth armor. Being able to ping to scan for enemies allows you to scan for patrols and avoid them from further away because you can see them from anywhere provided you put that pin down in the right place and pick them up on the scan. Even if you don't use the radar scanning, it also comes with a reduced visual detection radius around your helldiver, so you can sneak past patrols and avoid detection in closer quarters. (However, I can understand wanting different kinds of cosmetics for this passive than the current recon armor sets, or perhaps a heavy armor set that comes with the recon passive. Suppressed weapons would also be very cool.)
@@blehmeh9889 I know that, but the Scout passive meant to be used for, well scouting and recon duuuh, I want something that is actually, really meant for stealth, like an active camo armor or something.
I'll be surprised if we get that. Months ago they didn't seem to like that scout armor was letting people stealth solo missions. I was shocked when they were nerf bat heavy for a while there they didn't take away scout armor's 30% reduced visibility effect.
I think they should do a stealth warbond with more armour that have the stealth perk. But like OP said stealth weapons (silenced) AR's and SMG's (shit even a silenced shotty!) would be sick

Hey Sarge, got a challenge for you, if you're interested: A little back story first - my friend group is strange, and we call Helldivers "Heckdippers", and with the evolution of the name, we also found a new method of gameplay the we call "Skinny Dipping" where you don't call in ANY stratagems. Resupply is a must (but if you feel like attempting without a resupply, I'd commend you highly), but you only get to go in with what you can carry- or what you can find. Best of luck if you partake o7
@Sarge94 ooohhhh, that's a fair point. I'd say if there's a way around it (destroying bio processors/dropships, etc) you should avoid it, but gunship fabricators I think you'd have to call one in 🤷 your call, captain. You can make this gameplay what you want

I have an idea, do a super helldive as a mech, you can carry both if you want so you can switch if one explodes or runs out of ammo. Only get out to call stratagems or to do terminals/necessary objective stuff like arming a hell bomb.

Purifier would work here too, they're really simillar. Scorcher is slighlty better for gunships as you don't really have to aim for the engines. Blitz missions are on a really short timer, so if you stop and fight, you're most likely not going to be able to pull off a full clear.
Yeah, you can survive a hit from the bunker/fortress turret. Despite that, i usually run the jetpack, so slightly lower mobility isn't that much of a problem.
I completed my first helldive solo mission but i still dont know how you find the hidden objectives like SEAF or radar on the map without roaming around for a long time. 😅
It comes with time when you start memorizing their shapes. It's also good to look at the red areas on the map before deploying, they represent both outposts and side objectives :)
Yeah Quasar is surprisingly very silent even when you destroy fabs and most of the times bots don't even know what happened. Just yesterday I was running quasar, jump pack, gas strike, strafing run and had great time solo. Scorcher, Senator and smoke grenades. Actually if you stay out of the sight eagle strafing is also silent? I've seen a lot of bots just turn around and shoot at the eagle rather than aggroing on me
Would the title of this video imply that you think the scorcher is better than the purifier? Or solely for blitz missions? I personally feel the new scorcher is back to being the best primary for bots, but i thought i was alone in that opinion. 😅 Ggsx3
It's a bit better for gunships imo, and since blitz missions require you to play fast, i prefer scorcher over purifier. They're both great weapons tho, definitely in my top 3 right now, along with DCS.

I don't use strafing run too often, but it's highly possible as it has really long range which definitely helps.

Played for 300 hours and I had no idea you could get around the superdestroyer cutting off strats by punching the code before time ran out.
Not sure if it works for every stratagem, but definitely works for barrages. It's a really useful trick.
