The grand prize for this is the LifeAur3 chip. Normally you get a navi chip for beating said Navi, not with Bass.exe until Battle Network 2. Will he get the final chip and thus complete the collection, stay tuned and find out. Also, in Network Transmission Bass is the superboss only according to DigitalTy this version commits the sin of having something beyond your control finish the fight for you, in that case, when Bass cloak is destroyed after taking so much damage, though you have to get through his LifeAura first. As for Battle Chip Challenge, there are two versions of Bass. The first version is normal Bass who managed to steal a powerful program deck making him the final opponent of the final Tournament, the Z-Class Chaos Tournament, where the most powerful netbattler's stand between you and Bass. You'll not only need chips of varying elements but also adaptability. As for the other Bass, we'll save that for Bass Rage episode 3.

Yeah I honestly thought this would be hard. But I was wrong.
I got a question qg is the background music you're using the same music from Megaman 8 when you battle against Bass or is this part of the Battle Network? And I see you're channeling your inner Maximilian dood during this fight. One final question do you think the cross Fusion between Megaman and Bass is the most powerful or where Megaman cross fuses with the two digital beasts?
Bass.exe....while as intimidating as his original half, this one is more imposing by the fact that he is merciless and cares only about proving his strength to all he encounters...and when one worthy of fighting him emerges, he will surely appear before them to test their mettle in a duel to deletion...
Yeah, this is the by FAR the easiest iteration of Bass.exe. His 2 and 3 iterations, well... There's a reason you're going to want to go into those fights rocking an Electric element Style. And if you have no idea what a "Style" is, don't worry. You'll learn when QG plays through BN2.
Great job with beating him in the 1st game though I can't wait for you to try and beat him in the later games........oh lord. But again great job in beating him and getting the chip and again it really warms my heart to hear Mega man.Exe speak but also to hear him proclaim what game you completed....... This collection sold over one million copies and it's well deserved! Nice use of the Wiley stage 1 theme from Megaman 8!
Good job! Only time I've beat Bass was in Operation Shooting Star, I haven't reached him in the Collection yet. Beating him isn't much of a problem, but getting a good rank for the chip is the real deal...

Looking at this Bass and then being reminded of him in megaman 8 made me ask myself why couldn't they make him this imposing and intimidating outside of battle network, the dude is meant to be Willy's counter to megaman but he's just not that intimidating
Ah, great job, QG. Certainly better than I did since I "cheated" by using Pause constantly. That and my resource of fillling my folder with Guard, Dash and Gutsman for the Program Advance. Also had the Gaia Chip. But I believe that, instead of Dynamite, you shoulda gone with TimeBomb. Now I'm tackling Battle Network 2, just like you.
deffently curious to find out which version of Bass exe is the most rage inducing also Megaman exe at the memu should have said COMPLEATED im sure that would please Jirard "The Completionist" finish feels kinda weak unless he is saving it for when the legacy collection is 100% compleated
Yeah... excluding getting the Life Aura... 1st try buddy!!! Hopefully you include the Navi prior to the Real Bass.EXE in BN2, and heck, why not the harderst versions of the final bosses eventually like Nebula Grey Omega.
This version of Bass is more intimidating then the Classic version.
I actually like both versions of Bass.
And even stronger and more powerful. Bass classic would even fear this counterpart.

Robot Bass would be very jealous to know that his NetNavi counterpart is far stronger than himself.
Bass in each mainline Battle Network game including this one it usually takes me 20 to 50 tries before I beat him to 100% the game.
The battle network version of Base is without a doubt more powerful version then his classic series counter part.
Buster Max mode, I whooped him in three shots max.
