Trust me, as world food production continues to decline (fell 14% in 2020) due to climate change, all countries will see a rise in violence, and ultimately social collapse.

@American Infidel You could have a population of 6 billion, and there still won't be enough food in 15 years!

That's why we need to find new ways to ship food and get transport food... we loose millions of pounds of food every day during transportation, not to mention all the food that just plain goes to waste in grocery stores because it was dropped on the ground or another stupid reason. Plus the food that expires get thrown out after one day. When I worked at a Grocery Store called Safeway I used to get sick when I seen how much food gets thrown away. I worked in the bakery so I would bring 100s of pounds of food to the trash compactor... they used to give it to homeless people and people who need help getting food but someone ended up suing Safeway for getting sick after eating food a day over the experation date

Start excavating many lakes around the villages, to capture the rain when it falls ,and prevent the massive run offs, am sure the eco system will regenerate, other countries in Africa, have done that

Isn't it too late... It's high time to work no more meetings n workshops. Multi dimensional approach including preventing waste of raw n cooked food in many countries like US n middle east. Some r vomiting of over eating while others stomachs have shrinked due to starvation What an irony...

Your mind will get mind blown if you see how much food The USA and Europe waste everyday by just packaging it wrong or loosing it during transportation you would be sick. When I worked at a grocery store called Safeway we would throw out thousands of pounds of food every night, most of it was just made that morning as well! I use to take over 100 pounds of food to the trash compactor myself, I worked in the bakery so it was more food then most departments throw away but the Produce department threw away even more sometimes... we used to give the food away to people who were homeless or needed help getting food, we would give them tons of donuts and sandwiches but someone got sick after eating something that was expired by one day and they sued safeway for it so we had to stop. A lot of people went hungry after Safeway stopped giving it out. It's sad to watch that much food just get thrown away.

Capitalisms, the nonsense US justice system and the US imperial trade network are to blame, and things will only get worse.

There have been laws here (France) to prohibit routinely throwing away still edible food (or voluntarily degrading it to make it inedible), though it is handled through charitable organizations rather than directly given out. The businesses get partial credit toward their taxes. There's also protection for the party giving away such food in good faith. Some business also practice discounts on items with a short self life left so both they and customers who don't mind dealing with them rapidly or sticking them in the freezer can benefit. Probably still a lot of waste at other steps of the chain but a good thing IMO.

🤔 *we keep complaining and talking about climate change and even idea of unity for this dilemma yet most of us never dare to plant for a single tree or dramatcally avoid things & practices that contribute to the fast progressing climate change...*

Climate change is an important issue, that we need to cooperate on, and rich countries should help struggling regions... but gross population growth needs to be addressed, forest destruction minimized, illegal immigration curtailed, an appreciation for the technological advancements G20 style countries often makes to such solutions and their humanitarian aids, and realization that many people within wealthy countries are being neglected by these same corrupt elites. But if you follow some lame racism narrative, or some simple victim ethos, or religious rigidity, or expect everyone else to pay for your unearned outcomes, you aren't part of the solution either.

South Korea had birth rate of 6 kids per woman in the 50's and 60's but once it got rich it dropped to 0.8
People start to have less children when they become rich
That's why Europe has low birth rates
