I was about the same age when I first played! It actually taught me some English which helped me manage other games better as well. I'll never forget how scared I was of the glass guild for some reason.
Amazing how little of what I've done in a casual playthrough is necessary. I thought, just on Loom island, in order to progress you had to open the clam and dye the tapestries.
How have I never heard of this game?! My best friend and I played nearly every point and click game back in the 90s. Never heard of this or seen a screenshot of it.
This was so fun. Can’t thank GDQ enough for putting it on the schedule
Thank you for running Loom! Brought back so many memories watching this…. I miss it!
This is such a unique game, both in its presentation and design. Awesome to see at SGDQ.
❤❤❤❤
I never though I'd see this at GDQ. One of my favorite games.
I’m so glad it finally got in, bless whoever on the games committee likes point and clicks!
I remember playing this game on my parents’ laps as a 5 year old as we tried to figure out puzzles. Thank you so much for this run!
It was my pleasure!

Professor Moriarty was my academic advisor in college. He was great.
How amazing was to see Loom in GDQ.
Ask me about Loom.
They did!
No, this is Loom, not Monkey Island. :)
My favorite game of all time. Overjoyed to see it at GDQ.
One of my favorite games!! Ty for running it!

the guild of musicians would obviously work magic via the production of textiles
Oh wow that explains! As a kid I once softlocked myself and I didn't know why. Never got the F note because I bolted before it loaded.

so cool seeing this at a gdq!!!
It is absolutely insane to me that they took a game about music and cut it all out for the talkie version.
Rhat scream is better than Wilhelm and Star Fox combined
So sad the music was removed.
So what was the plot?
