To answer your question, that other piece was in fact my test dye piece. Many others who have received test dye pieces use them as a mouse pad.

Joe does such nice work, a true leathersmith. Lancelot leather first and foremost wants to produce what you envision. Customer service is A++, and he does it with a smile. I have a good leather worker about a mile from me, it pales in comparison to Joe's work.

Lol i Just started my knife collection and purchase the neoprene adhesive mat to place in my pull out desk tray. The knifes don’t move around now and it look better than before. Maybe I’ll get to a custom leather mat one day. Yours is absolutely beautiful.
