It was unbelievable man, I'm uploading a start to the day video of this storm now and I couldn't believe how off these weather apps were on this storm.... I plowed some driveways 3 times because they said it was over and then dropped another 2 inches... Crazy how quick the snow from the blizzard melted though...
Here in Northern Illinois, we sometimes have more salt on the ground than snow. It's crazy. We salt and plow, kinda feel guilty at the amount of salt we are required to lay down...environmental mess.
i love how the forecast was supposed to be a coating no more than a few inches lol. watched the superbowl then went out 11p-5am just a bunch of school parking lots so wasn't too bad
That’s exactly what we did went out at midnight work till about 10 AM the next day. Was awake for over 30 hours that’s where the frustrating part comes in and the title of this video. Part two of this video will be out next week that’s when we actually do all the plowing and cleanup.
Didn’t realize you guys got that much up there. Down here in southern ct they called for the same, we got 3 inches but in like the beginning of your video it didn’t stick to the pavement. We just got away with salting. By noon it stopped and the wind dried the pavement. Just enough to get the trucks dirty again! The areas that get shade are where the snow sticks first.
Gotta love the weather guesser’s
I'm near Providence. Saturday night the forecast was 1-2". We got 10!
crazy how wrong they were with the forecast
@@crowleypoolservices that was the most inaccurate they've been in a while
I have 2016 F 350 truck and use the body line in the hood and align it with the center spot of the drivers plow light

If you know what you’re doing with the fishers one person can hook up a plow in 30 seconds

Yes new blend we are trying out
We have been using magic salt for many years. Works great
I'm sure some idiot like snow boss will comment that you need a v plow or you can't possibly plow snow efficiently lol
