    FRN are not "federal reserve notes", rather "floating rate notes."

    I'm going to leave a comment because I know this helps where it concerns the algorithm and exposure for your channel, and I have a funny feeling that this year a lot of people are going to start taking an interest into some of this history. A long time coming.

    Have you noticed that all of your videos in this series that have “panic” “emergency” or “shock” have the most views? Found that interesting. Anyway, this series is phenomenal. Thank you for sharing.

      That is correct, and a good point. Thanks for the compliment, glad you've enjoyed the series.

    So are you familiar with sending your securities to the trustee and indenture trustee to discharge?

    Worse yet, the F.O.M.C. minutes are withheld five years before release , giving these particular banking parties ample time to inside trade on the information decided upon.

    You declined to mention who originally wrote up the 1935 act. It probably bears more than a mention...

    • @ProfessorBarth
      @ProfessorBarth  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You talking about Eccles?

    • @Jamesvandaele
      @Jamesvandaele 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As with all legislation, you have to find who made the original draft, who fiddles around with it later is much less important than the originator. Keep digging and tell me who you come up with.

    • @Jamesvandaele
      @Jamesvandaele 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ProfessorBarth I forgot that they chose Eccles to be the front man on this one. But the close connection with Lauchlin Currie, shows that they were all part of the same ideological group, I don't think Eccles is mentioned in Venona, but also, he didn't write it to begin with, the person who did is certainly mentioned in venona.

    Way too much democracy, not enough Republic, right? There's where the problem started that I can see. This country is formed as a republic, not as a democracy

    I wish Professor Barth had dug a little deeper into the Business Plot of 1934 (also known as the "Wall Street Putsch"). It wasn't just the corporate elites or captains of industry. Many extremely wealthy wall street financiers and bankers were angry at the loss of Laissez Faire and subsequent introduction of government regulations intended to control their industry. I'd love to see Professor Barth do an entire episode on the Wall Street Putsch.

    I'm not American, I don't know how big this was at the time, but could this plot charge be engineered to make the Morgans lose support?
