- The end-of-life vehicle (ELV) recycling process involves dismantling and processing old, non-functional, or discarded cars to recover valuable materials and reduce environmental impact. This process typically begins with the removal of hazardous materials, such as batteries, fluids, and airbags, to prevent contamination.
Once the car is stripped of harmful substances, it's sent to a car shredder, a large machine that breaks the vehicle into smaller, more manageable pieces. Car shredders use rotating hammers to crush and tear the car apart, separating the metal from other materials like plastics and rubber. The shredded materials are then sorted using powerful magnets and other separation technologies to extract ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
The remaining materials, often referred to as automotive shredder residue (ASR), consist of non-metallic parts like plastics, glass, and upholstery. ASR is either processed further for recycling or disposed of in an environmentally safe manner.
Car crushing machines, also known as car crushers, are sometimes used before shredding. These machines flatten the car, reducing its volume and making it easier to transport. Crushing also helps to ensure that no hazardous materials remain in the car's body.
The recovered metals, which include steel, aluminum, and copper, are sent to smelters for recycling, where they are melted down and reused in new products. The recycling process not only conserves natural resources but also reduces the need for new raw materials, thus minimizing the environmental footprint of vehicle manufacturing.
The save tool cutter still takes too much time
Whenever scrap, air-cooler, fire knob and radio, what happen to them? If reuse aircooler as piping to upgrade other vehicles to install on top of the handle of each door, corner of roof? Fire knob thing to use as bicycle or even motorcycle addon? Radio if just box it into portable?
Welcome Home Ghana Accra Kotoka international airport and Nigeria Abuja to meet Father and Mother Steve Crown and Cynthia Baidoo Crown, Thanks

Repeat yourself over and over and over very boring video.
You are repeating the same info over and over.
All those recycled items went on a huge container ship and ended up in a Chinese furnace complex. 😮
Yes, and in return we receive Chinese rubbish things back
