@@anglobostonian if you look closely at his warmup jacket, there's a human rights button that smith and carlos gave him. they asked him if he'd wear it to support their protest and he was more than happy to oblige.
Having Avery Brundage as IOC president was an embarrassment for the Olympic Games. His track record of anti-minority actions were well known, and should have prevented him getting that position.
