Absolutely beautiful! I just bought that book and the "Birds in the Forest"---I love her whimsical sense of humor! (Colored a page in the latter book--a gnome and some disgruntled ducks, sitting together on a mattress!!) I, too, am having problems with that Artistro White Pen---had to shake it so hard that it splattered me and my set of markers!! I now prefer the Posca. I think that Sarah has a 'better relationship' than I do with Artistro! LOL! Anyway, wonderful and instructive video--I learned a lot! Thanks! Lynn in NYC

I just got the mermaids in paradise book and fairies in dreamland is on its way, I ordered a slightly used copy so it’s going to take a little longer than normal but I’m really excited to try this, it’ll be helpful for both books. Did u prime the page first with gesso or a medium before putting down the oil pastel?

I did not prime the page first. This paper is really nice. I do spray with a fixative after.
