For pure skill and dribbling Maradona and George Best. With Maradona winning world cup and what he achieved ive seen no one better than him
it was today this genius was born ..you will always be with us forever RIP KING
The best among the greatest football players in the world soccer history
He had everything. Not just the amazing skills, but also great charisma. Both Argentina and Napoli were average teams, but he lifted them to another level to achieve greatness.
Quite simply, no player ever has reached the levels of performance Maradona hit in 86-87. That is without taking into consideration the lack of protection players got in those days. He was unstoppable, and did not need a great team around him to win. Argentina were not a great side, but he got them to 2 wotld cup finals. Napoli were not a great team either, and took over 30 years to win their first league title without Maradona. That shows just how big an achievement winning twice in 3 years was. No player before, or since, has been able to lift average teams to such heights on their own. He was, and still is, the best.
The best ever.
As a person who grew up in the CR7 vs Leo Messi era. I still would say Diego Maradona is still the all time greatest Argentine player! Long live Diego Armando Maradona!
I was 11 years old when Maradona won the WC and until Messi I said he was the greatest player I've ever seen. Maradona is just more loved, he's gonna be a mythical figure to kids 50 years from now
@@IWannatalkpodcast I still say that Maradona is the better player, Messi has the better career.
He was targeted in every game he played and faced challenges that would be automatic red cards today. Messi and CR7 are great players but they get a lot of protection that Maradona never had, but he was still able to achieve greatness with Argentina and Napoli. He possessed amazing skills, charisma and was a born leader.
💙🤍
Of course Maradonna was a much better footballer but as a professional no! But it was different times and cocaine wasn't viewed like it is today, back then you were a successful person if taking cocaine. Messi and Ronaldo have never took a rubbish team and made them the best, they both played for teams that would of won anyway so that takes away alot of the magic
Maradona was the greatest ever to grace this earth. Pele couldn’t lace his boots
Pele is so overrated 💯
Pele was a great player, but with Brazil he was surrounded by great players. Maradona won in 86 with at best an average Argentina team and dragged it to ultimate glory singlehandedly.
My 10💙🤍
☝️😎🇦🇷
He was thest best ever in the most competitive sport in the world, the GOAT of all sports.
Still and always will be the GOAT. There has never been another player with the skill and charisma he possessed. What he did in 86 and for Napoli will never be surpassed. He took a club that was nearly relegated the season before he arrived and left winning two league titles, domestic and European cup triumphs. They’d never won anything before he came and only won their third ever title and the first since he left last season. Thats why the people of Naples still regard him as a god.
❤
The people of Naples treated him terribly and ruined his life! The racist behaviour of the people was crazy! All Argentinian and Italian people especially Napoli are half African and that's a great thing not a bad thing.
МАРАДОНА -- ГЕНИЙ! МАРАДОНА -- ВЕЧЕН! МАРАДОНА -- ВЕЛИКИЙ СЫН АРГЕНТИНЫ!
15:03 I’m English and that goal in 86 was beautiful! A short ass like Maradona jumped up and got to the ball before a Shilton who’s 6-7 inches taller than him did. And the second goal wasn’t too bad either
I completely agree and I'm English too. I was 11 years old and I felt like applauding
The second was voted the greatest ever world cup goal and rightly so. He achieved and won just about everything despite facing career ending tackles in virtually every game, he never dived, he’d get straight back up and carry on running.
Tengan en cuenta que Inglaterra NO LE PEGÓ a Diego como si hacían los demás equipos.
Y lo dijo el mismo Diego : " a destacar la nobleza del jugador inglés " ... ☝️😎🇦🇷
Shilton like a feet taller
Maradona , utter utter footballing genius.
Diego Armando Maradona
I think he was more scared than trying to cheat. It was just destiny. From a football perspective it was also a changing of the guards. Maradona was better than any player on the English team. A team that was feared for their skill and toughness. People nowadays don't understand. It was also something amazing for Argentina. A country so dominated by it's European culture, this passionate, short, dark player with indigenous roots was somewhat uniting for the whole nation. It was so similar in Italy, where you have similar cultural, and ethnic divisions.
It wasn’t his fault the ref and linesman didn’t spot it. You’re not going to admit you handled the ball in a world cup semi final. The second has rightly been voted the greatest ever world cup goal.
@@1972dsraiTotalmente de acuerdo con vos en lo del 1° gol ...
El 2°, no requiere comentarios ...
Imagine George Best and Maradonna in the same team with Keane and Zidane in midfield and Ronaldo (real one) upfront with Pele and Messi as a false person!
